IV didn't have everything from previous games, I'm not sure why people expected V would. Same generation. People most definitely complained about IV not having everything the previous games had, but I think most understood it was a new generation and R* was doing something different. III to SA was the type of evolution some people probably expected from IV to V. EDIT: HEY WHATS UP I GOT THEM MANG LSPD The Lost MC Vagos These textures are ground logos. They are plastered on the ground and represent a group / objective. They are prefixed with the name "mpgroundlogo_INSERTNAMEHERE". A better example of how these work is like in TLaD, shown below. that V of vagos seems like a superhero logo. also,happy that they are using the lost again, maybe we are playing as a vago, a LSPD officer and a lost in the DLC? Actually we had all of this from the start of GTA Online but it was scraped. The original idea was that it gave you diffrent groups to chose from and you'd have to do jobs from them. IIRC. If Trevor's doing any drunk dancing, it'll be dirty dancing in the street with The Lost. That might explain why he's always throwing that guy off the bridge. Uncle Vlad Posted April 17, 2015 Share Posted April 17, 2015 (edited) Just had a little daydream...the V section of gtaforums.com after the confirmation that all the nightclub/casino/gang wars/drug wars/bowling stuff is Online exclusive and SP just gets an ironing minigame for Frankln.... Jokes aside, we´ll see what additions the SP DLC will include. I´d be not too excited about dancing, I´d prefer stuff like insurance, trackers, morge garage space, purchasable safehouses or more criminal side activities. Perhaps I´m lucky and some of it can make it into the DLC. The only one I can see them not allowing is Michael. Since he's happily back with Amanda and probably wouldn't want to piss her off by going off to a club. We've already danced in 2004's San Andreas, so what would another dancing QTE mini game, but with better graphics and animations, bring to the table? nothing new, just the same thing we did 10 years ago. Unfortunately, this is the reality, that the game is stagnant as most of the ideas have already been consumed. The jump from 2D GTA to 3D GTA was something that has never seen before. It was something completely new and fresh. The evolution from GTA III to the marvelous San Andreas was groundbreaking, and something no other developer dared of doing. It was something completely new, a world that provides never-ending activities for you to enjoy, just in one package. San Andreas, at its time, was something never heard of before. We went from III era to HD era, introduced by GTA IV. Everything now has much more depth, from the alleys of Liberty City to the pedestrians wandering the streets. While retaining the same basic GTA formula, IV felt very fresh with the new graphical identity, and everything seemed to have its own physics. What about V? no substantial change from IV, so the experience felt repetitive. The game could have helped itself with an interesting story and characters, but no, it didn't happen. What now? just add every possible mini game out there, just like it was in 2004, hoping that they would be fun to do again with prettier graphics. A new interior since V does lack in that regard? Add more diversity to LS's nightlife? Just a few examples... Just because we already had this doesn't mean it can't return. I'm not interested in all things from past GTA's coming back but I wouldn't mind some features returining.
