PS4 and PSN not reconnecting or wtf is going on?!?!

Recently and only recently I have experienced many Rockstar servers are unavailable error messages and being disconnected from the game - pop up message saying Save failed and all that doodle. Originally I thought it was a problem on R* end but it turns out my internet randomly dips or cuts for a few seconds which causes havoc with PSN and GTA online.

 

The only way I have managed to fix this problem is having to restart my console completely which is quite a drag. My PSN does not work right once the net dips and it does not reconnect properly. I cannot access my friends list or anything internet based until a restart and also if I try GTA Online it will give me a R* server error immediately after selecting online.

 

I've tried signing out of PSN and trying to sign back in which just hangs so that doesn't work. Isn't there an alternate method to sort out this problem without having me to quit the game, restart the console and then reload the game. This of course take a tremendous amount of time to do.

 

Or is there any setting on the console I can fiddle with that will help this problem? I have wifi and my net does sometime dip like this but this problem only came to be with the last PSN update. Before that, my psn reconnected fine and I was able to immediately jump back online without a restart.

Hey there, i was having the same problem yesterday. What i did was, i took a nap for 2 hours, turned on PS4 tried again and everything was working.
