What is this black magic? It's a stupid setting in the pre-race lobby called "Catchup". Another retarded setting that Rockstar left ON by default so that sh*tty players could make tons of mistakes and still win races. The host of the race has the ability to turn it off, but most people never look at settings and just want to get into the action as quickly as possible. Whats the point of "racing" if the game just helps the ones at the back get back to the front /sigh Oh well, I dont play alot of races anyway.
