Everything is running smoothly and I could not be more immersed. Clearly this is not the norm after viewing this forum. Something must be terribly wrong.But seriously. I just wanted to post a nice thread, asking of nothing and just saying that all is going well. Not be be a douche to anyone who is having troubles but just to change up the pace. So much commotion over each persons individual issues and something not quite settling right with someone like physics. I have really been enjoying the game. Taking it slowly and just admiring everything it has to offer. This is a thread about nice things and I would like to hear each and every one of your experiences with the game.. so long as it's good.I've been going through the story, trying to spread it out by doing as many side-missions as I can. Just dove into directors mode and little bit of online. But mainly trying to stick with the story for now. I already beat the game once on the 360 and it only took a few days. This time I'll go slower. Anyways, as I was saying, post your positive experiences. And lastly, here is my very first video made within the game. Keep in mind, I accidentally was recording and then when I edited it, I was drunk, and yet it still made something pretty cool. Downloaded it 3 times from the rockstar servers and each time the data has been corrupted. Guess ill just sit tight with my 360 version until they fix it. marmoo Posted April 17, 2015 Share Posted April 17, 2015 Game runs like a dream on my Rig No errors, lag or problems of any description - even the install was painless.Decided to stop downloading patch when RSC was downloading at 5kbps so did not play on day 1 but started day 2 when it downloaded fine at good speed. Game looks wonderful. I started doing the SP missions but to be honest I am just enjoying exploring at the moment. I know I have not activated many options on the map yet by not doing the SP but don't care. For example MSAA, Grass, Extended Distance Scaling and not to talk about the menu lags. Im not complaining i love it and it runs great on my machine with 980 gtx and all but it can be alot better if they patch up the things that effects and eats the fps. I'm a sandbox PC fanatic, and wow Saints Row, Watch Dogs, Sleeps dogs etc- don't even come close. Time to delete them all (and everything else except my heavily modded GTA:IV). Can't wait until I'm crusing around in an ELS Crown Vic chasing a shiney perfectly modeled ferrari. For me, the game was perfect at launch, with no impact on GTA Online, downloading speed etc. On my R9 290, it runs perfect at very high settings 60 fps all the time. The wait was worth it.
