Chat option

Hey guys,

 

I am on the PC and have seen when playing online that others sometimes chat and it shows up on my screen to the right, how do people chat? I cant find it anywhere and have searched Google and tried pressing every button I can but have failed everytime.

 

How do I chat back to people like they can send messages "On Screen".

T and some other button for your team.

 

Why dont you just go to the keyboard control menu and check which key it belongs to?

When I was driving around I saw people's messages appear on the screen and also when I was doing a mission with another guy, he was chatting to me on the screen and I couldnt reply to him, I tried pressing all my keys but nothing happened. I'll take a look, but I dont think it will belong to anything will it if i have pressed all the buttons on my keyboard and nothing happened?

If the "T" or "Y" key don't work for you then you can check your key bindings to manually put it yourself, it's in settings > key bindings > GTA Online
