Cant Call Phone - Mission: Friend Request

Hi All,

Playing through single player campaign and I am on the first mission where Michael meets Lester at this house. I am at the point where Micheal is back at his own house watching the product unveiling on TV and is supposed to call that guy on the stage. everytime i activate the button to bring up the phone (at the point where he is punching numbers), the phone appears on screen for a split second and then diasappears, but instead the actions are manipulated on the TV's remote control in Michaels left hand.

As a result I am unable to complete this mission. I even replayed it from the start once just to be sure there was not some random bug that caused this. I have remapped my phone key to the 'W' key at least I think I remapped it...so I am not sure if that might be a contributing factor.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

No spoiler about it dude. The events that will unfold is obvious leading up to that point during the mission, based on the conversation and inuendo between Michael and Lester. I just need to know how to get past this point. I wouldn't spoil events for others...

for anybody else who cares or is interested, it was the mapped key that was causing the problem for whatever reason. I changed the key and was successful.
