What i mean is that battlefield bad company 2 is a very heavy game from graphics physics and other stuff.

And i can play bfbc2 on my pc without any problems also online and the graphics settings are on max.

My pc is windows 8.1 pro gtx 770 2gb and 6gb ram.

So i wonder why is it so easy and smooth to play bfbc2 and so hard and buggy to play gta v ? Why should be so much difference ?

Simple really, it's a completely different game.

BF Bad Company 2's levels in comparison are really small in comparison to the massive area that GTA V has. Being open world, there is a LOT more on the screen to render. BFBC2 was complex for it's time, but things have moved on a lot since then.

BFBC2 JUST had some enemy and team mate AI. GTA V has AI EVERYWHERE. The peds, the animals, the vehicles etc... Essentially, there is a LOT of loading involved and a lot for the graphics card and processor to process. On top of this, there are shadows, reflections, water and 3D vegatation to render.

Also, at the time people may have struggled with BFBC2. Version 1.0 of the game, older rigs with less powerful hardware. In 3-4 years, maybe less; EVERYONE will be able to run GTA V 4k constant 60 fps with all the bells and whistles cranked.
