How to improve in GTA V Online ?

Hi, I started playing GTA V Online. I am digging it . But I am only Rank 5.

Now whenever I am playing TDM or DM, I am getting squashed by enemies. Its like they are spotting me and killing me in an instant. I cant even get the time to aim properly. Which weapon to use at first ?

And one more thing, how do I rank up fast in the game ? Which mode do I need to play ?

Do missions - help others complete their goals and you'll soon level up quickly.

If people approach you, get out of your car, find cover and get ready to whoop ass.

On the other hand, don't approach someone on foot, while you're in a car, unless you get a Vapid Bullet, which is bulletproof from the rear.

I'd stay away from DM/TDM till you level up more, do missions! If you really want to though, just hide and blind fire.

 

When you hit level 15 survivals open up. Do "Processed". If you hide in the dumpster (Youtube it) you can do it by yourself and when you finish you get like 3500 xp and $30K and you get loads of ammo PLUS you get to pick up guns that are not unlocked yet and use them in missions as well as free roam. Like SMGs, Shot Guns, ARs, RPG, Sniper, Rocket Launcher and the almighty Mini Gun! You can't buy ammo for these and you lose them once you end your game session, but it will even the playing field for the day
