Fleeca Job: Scope Out

Today I had played again The Fleeca Job and everything is fine until I finish the Scope Out Mission. So when I drive to my apartment with the Granger the game will start the cutscene for driving into my garage and then it would stop and freeze right there, and will not advance the progress.

 

I don't know what to do.

Got this earlier when a random automaically started once I quickjoined into it, not giving me a chance to leave.

 

Guess I have another motivation to ignore this setup now.

Yup, had this too but it did advance us into the cutscene in the house making me finish the mission. Mine happened at Richards Majestic.

 

when the car driving into the garage cutscene started the garage door started opening and closing to about halfway a few times, when it did open the Granger despawned leaving us standing there though triggering the other cutscene.

So many people leave this one when I give them a chance to do so that after the 6th person leaves I start it too before they can leave. I don't understand why people leave the Setups for this Heist, they are fast and easy and make the host almost certainly only invite the random who joined for the main Heist if that random plays normal or good. Easy money for both.

Fellow forum member DaTwista reported to me earlier that this glitch happened while playing in First Person mode so if any of

you were playing in this view that might explain the freeze.

Tried it again today. Now the garage didn't even open and the car just stayed there standing still. I restarted the game, went to my house and it said start Finale, well ok... So I started it, someone joined and it starts with the ending cutscene in your house of Scope out. Then I could select the setup Kuruma and continue like nothing has happened.

 

Edit: Was in Third-person, second distance camera.

It seems to be my progress for fleeca isn't adding up and i did a random heist before starting

Watching the whole cutscene at the beginning does not solve it, in case anyone had the same idea as me

Edit: This happened to me on Ps3...is this PS3 specific?

PC here, have this too, even in 3rd person. Sometimes the screen just goes white, the garage opens and closes a few times and then freezes, or the Granger disapears.

Did the Fleeca Heist setup 5 times and it always bugged out at the end.

Could it be that it bugs out when the garage the car is driving into is full?

Don't worry man! Just keep trying and I'm sure you'll beat the first heist setup one day! But in all seriousness heists are really messed up at the moment. I would recommend trying a different apartment.

Well, I have tried 3 times again, 3 differents apartments. It's a 100% freeze. I play on Xbox 360 and to save my progress I just press the Home Button and select "Xbox Dashboard' option.

 

I hosted this Heist 3 times today and everything is fine except that part of the Mission. I'm going to try watching all the first cutscene.

I'm on Ps4, i think it's all platforms..

 

I found someone with the problem on the Rockstar support and the answer from R* is :

 

"We would suggest uninstalling and re-installing GTA V on your console. If this does not provide a fix, please submit a ticket."

Exact same here. Me and 3 friends were planning on trying for the CM challenge today but we just crash out under the same circumstances upon entry with the (Granger?) vehicle to the apartment. Tried various different things to try and prevent it from happening, multiple apartments etc. It's so frustrating because it means CM is out of the question . If anybody finds a fix please share!

I've had this come up the last 2 times I played this setup now. One was in 3rd person, the other was in 1st person. It'll get stuck right at the garage door. It seems to count as being completed when I go back into the heist room, but I get no money, medals, or anything from it. What the hell did Rockstar do now?

Funniest part i found was it has nothing to do with the phyical game itself since it's Online not story mode

It doesn't help that Scope Out is such a boring ass prep and Lester's dialog is staler than finding a jizz'd out sock 30 years later.
