When I first started downloading I hit about 7.5 MB/s (I have 100 Mbitps connection) then it started to drop and eventually I got stuck at 30 kb/s. The solution is rather simple, just hit pause and then resume once the download rate become too low. I'd say this could only be due to one of three things: Rockstars bandwidth divider is deeply flawed. When you pause and resume to get swapped into an near empty downloading group and you get high bandwidth for a while. They use some underlying bugged implementation of TCP. patrikje Posted April 14, 2015 Share Posted April 14, 2015 That worked for me 2 hours ago, but it hasn't done anything special ever since... constant reconnecting and slow download speeds.
