J_hallin
I think it has something to do with RAM. I have 16GB on windows 7. When I look at the GTA5.exe process it gets to 2,700,00k Memory and then starts with the issues. It then caps itself at 2,775,ish k. When watching the resource monitor it says I still have 10 gb of memory free. Not sure what the deal is. Also my processor and gc are around 60-70% the whole time. Looking at my Performance tab in the WTM it says I have 0 free memory. 9814 Cached and 9760 Available. 115 processes in background. i5 @ 3.8 and a 7970 with 3gb. I am wondering why the GTA5 is being capped around 2,775,000 k. It runs fin until it starts to reach that ceiling. Again CPU usage is around 50 -70%. GC usage maxing out at 76%. Sorry just saw sticky problem thread.
Hollistupid
Happens to me as well; you should fill out a Rock* support ticket and forward the number to me so I can attach it to my tweet to rockstar with mine so it gets some attention hopefully. J_hallin
What are your system specs? Have you watched the Windows Task Manager Processes monitor? If so around how much memory does GTA5.exe use before it starts to slow down for you?
PittDawg
Not sure if its related to your issue but a player over at gamefaqs claims using the custom radio is causing all kinds of stuttering and hiccups, etc. Hollistupid
Hollistupid
First jitters started around 1,800,000k memory usage and it completely went to crap at 2,500,000k and I got the windows low memory error. Specs: Intel i5 4670k @3.4ghz Nvidia GTX 760 2gb 8gb ddr3 1600 Windows 7 HP SP1 Not sure if its related to your issue but a player over at gamefaqs claims using the custom radio is causing all kinds of stuttering and hiccups, etc. Hmm, I was using Self Radio both times and the jitters started happening; I'll try disabling it and hopefully that will improve performance.
