So I'm planning to transfer my character over to the PC but how does creating usernames work for the PC/Steam?

 

Is there a standalone prompt for creating a unique GTA Online username tag or does the username from the transferred online tag from the XBONE/PS4 carry over to the PC?

 

 

And can more than one person have the same username on the PC?

I'm pretty sure that it uses your social club username.

 

It seems you can change your SC nickname.

 

Does that also alter the GTA Online tag you have? Or is the primary nickname upon creating your R* Social Club account the only one that is used?

I've changed my social club nickname and that is currently what is shown in GTA Online.
