h8xxxx Posted April 14, 2015 Share Posted April 14, 2015 Hi all I am new to GTA, I bought this because of the open world and multiplayer. I am enjoying it but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to drive straight with just WASD keyboard. any tips? I cannot even get past the second repo mission to catch the guy on the bike. the car is impossible to control on a keyboard. any tips to adjust settings would be great thanks H8XXXX Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
TheRealAJH Posted April 15, 2015 Share Posted April 15, 2015 Dont forget that you can use a joypad if you have one and prefer one. But you'll have to get used to it as later on you have to shoot people while driving which is another level. Also, some of the cars do feel a little floaty on the steering, even to me. Keyboard driving is an acquired skill and takes some practice. Remember it is not analogue, you need to stop pressing forward or you will continue speeding up. To start with, tap the keys and keep an eye on your speed. Also, PC has an excellent first person mode, even in cars where you can see a working speedometer. I'd just keep practising outside of the mission until it clicks and you'll be handbrake cornering in no time! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
