It was never said it would be different. Its just GTA V as it it should be. Other than that, its great to finally play in first person and it to be more responsive with 60fps. Fixed Oh right yeah, kinda forgot about them at this point. Its really stupid though all the "its no different" comments. The upgrade from last gen to next gen wasn't any different, people still got it, why do they expect PC to be any different, all we had to do was wait 1 and a half years to get it because R*'s definition of "soon" is 1.5 years. Oh yeah, and another thing. stop trying to segregate PC from everywhere else, its all GTA online, just different platforms. Better still why do we go full on and have a section for all consoles/platforms. have a 360 section, ps3 section, xb1 section and ps4 section. then we don't have to deal with cross platform confusion considering they're all so fu*king different. am i right guys? /Sarcasm. Soran Is On Posted April 14, 2015 Share Posted April 14, 2015 i think its funny when I looked in the pc section the top 6 or 7 threads were nothing but Graphics this, graphic settings that, anit-aliasing on/off, paralax occlusion not working, yada yada.... its like 1st day pc gamers buy a game to test their machines not play them. Earleys Posted April 15, 2015 Share Posted April 15, 2015 (edited) Other than the crashes I'm having (which is really annoying me), I have to say the game is great so far. It's definitely better than I expected. Of course I haven't done everything I could do. But still, I've been playing for 10 hours and I've had a lot of fun in those 10 hours. I also like how the world actually seems like a living world where you can do stuff and help people during 'random' events etc. Seems like Rockstar paid attention to a lot of small details, and I definitely like that. Now I just need to get rid of my crashes, and then I'd give this game a 9.5/10. (Also, yes, PC was my first time playing). poland stronk Posted April 15, 2015 Share Posted April 15, 2015 The biggest problem with this game is that I drive cluelessly as I can't think of what should I do. Driving is perfect for me, shooting is detailed, responsive and the game is massive. I've seen the map before but it is two times bigger than I expected to be. I can drive at top speed and still travel short distances. And I haven't yet explored anything outside the city with the exception of Sandy Shores which is also big. The music - I don't understand why people say there is not much to listen, 90' rap, 80' rock/pop hits, the game lacks many tracks from it's predecessors that's true but still I enjoy it. The other problem is that I want to cause rampages but I don't want to act out of character, really. If I do something out of place then I will load the game. Also I don't want to progress into the story yet but on the other hand I want to unlock car parts, stores, weapons and do missions. I just get lost the moment I start this game. But there are some flaws - I can't set what clothes M and F would wear and there is no option to switch personal vehicles also the interaction is rather limited as I would like to sit or lean over a bench. I'm playing the game on max and I say, overall the game is like PS3/xbox360 but with higher resolution, and with higher resolution you can see all the flaws, or the lack of details, it becomes obvious the game is last gen, BUT, the new graphical things they have put in is very impressive, for example foliage, the landscapes looks flawless. The gameplay is still the same, but finally we can play with mouse, which makes everything so more fun. But I have to say, despite being a pc master racer, that the ps3/xbox360 versions are still the best, the game is simply created for those old consoles, PC is just overkill for this type of game. There's not that much of a difference compared to the PS4 when running at 1080p, except the framerate (I assume at 4k would be a different story graphic wise), but it certainly does look miles better than the ps3/xbox 360 version.
