thinkingbear
When playing the new "Adversary Modes" online, inbetween rounds players get stuck on a screen showing their players face. The next round will start and players won't see the game at all, only a picture of their face, and the radar that appears to still be functional. Hotfix: Alt + Tab out of game and open it back up. Fixes it everytime. Thanks for this tip. When it happened to me I could hear my gun firing when I pressed my mouse but all I could see was my face and shoulder. So I logged out, and when I log back in I was told I had been a "bad sport" for logging out and if I continue to be a bad sport I would only be allowed to play with other bad sports. I thought I would have to stay away from online mode until they got the bugs worked out, but this helps. Thanks.
Scalesdini
So, my sound issue took a backseat to the issue of my display driver crashing every so often. This has been happening with some stuff rarely, full screen crunchyroll, full screen twitch streams, etc. Black screens for a second and then a message popup about my display driver crashing... So, card is getting returned, and as luck would have it, the Sapphire r9 290 Tri-X OC is on sale for the same price I paid for my Sapphire r9 280x Tri-X when I built this PC... a month ago. This happened on the stable and beta drivers, so something is clearly wrong with the card. Part of me wonders about going with the same brand that I've just had trouble with, but I know Sapphire is a legit brand, so I'm willing to take the risk on it. Perhaps whatever is causing the card to crash is also causing my sound problem.
Kouki_Monster
Hello I seem to be having a slightly different issue than others. I am stuck on this screen Its the screen right after the R* logo. The intro even lags and you can also see the saving icons lag while they spin in that stuck screen. This happens when launching either SP or Online. I re-installed RSC and have the latest drivers. Currently I'm re-downloading the game but I have a feeling thats not gonna work. Anyone else having this same issue? The game was running great for me before. Hoschelhoff
Just a friendly advice for people raging about a bug; leave the rage out of the bugreport. Voit Turyv
Has anyone had a keyboard and mouse lag during the game? Example: I do a burnout in a car, I press W+S, I let them off and the car is doing burnout for next 1 second from letting W+S off. It's especially annoying when I'm making a turn. Mouse lag: kinda same. Edited April 16, 2015 by Voit Turyv

jimmyriddler
I downlowded the game from Steam, when I selected the Story mode and the game should have start the "display manager" immediately rebooted and the video of the game disappeared and I had an error massage: - ERR_GFX_D3D_INIT that said: "failed initialization. Please reboot and restart the game. Try reinstalling the game if this persists." - Well it presists, I reinstalled the game and verfied the game cache in Steam (of course after rebooting my computer...) it doesn`t works i have that error massege again and again. I tried to fing a solution for that error on YouTube and some forums but nothing I found there worked for me, I was surprised to find that actually that error is preatty much popular across other players... Here are my computer parametters (which are far higher than the minimum and recomended): OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit Service pack 1 CPU: Intel® Core i5-3570K CPU @ 3.4Ghz-3.8GHz 8GB RAM Graphic Card: GeForce GTX Series 660 I downlowded the latest drivers from Nvidia site (the special one to run GTA V) please someone HELP ME to solve that problem or say when the next bugfix update will occur. I want to play that awsome game so much, I have waited for it for so long time :* and now this bugs are so frustrating... Sorry for my poor languege. Did you try my solution for this on page 3? bmlodge
Have an issue when I park a car at my $217, 000 home during GTA V online mode. It plays the cut scene of going into the garage then I get out of the car outside, on the ramp and can't move or do aything. End up having to quit. SO basically I can't park a car in my 10 space garage.

poland stronk
After few minutes I get flickering buildings and some objects load wrongly as I see massive triangles from half-transparent to black and going through half the screen. Some textures load badly and overall it ruins experience as those graphicals glitches can obstruct my view while driving. Also when I change Tesselation the game will crash and I will get "the AMD driver has stopped working but recovered itself". I have R9 280X and AMD 15.4 beta drivers. Hope it will get fixed but might as well be my vga as I get those bugs in other games but not as often as here. In Dragon Age Inquisition I get it after long play and only few maybe because of Mantle API. My temps under full load are 80-82 C degrees. Edit: Sometimes the game pauses itself for no reason (happened on Shooting range as I was standing still waiting for practise targets). After I pause the game and resume I can't access pause menu again for about 1 second (some sort of lag). Also when I switch characters the screen gets grainy for the process, don't know if that is a bug or was intended. Edit2: I turned starting screen off so the game loads story mode instantly but it displays Xbox Controller keys (RB and X) but I have only plugged mouse and keyboard. slyjelly33
Hi, 980 SLI I7 4770k @ 4.2 16 gig ram 5 screen hd surround @ 10000x1080 Nvidia GTA drivers installed Windows 8.1 64 bit fully updated Game runs fantastically but I have 2 problems, I get screen dimming when I go near or around light sources such as lampposts. Basically the whole screen gets darker than lighter as I move round the light. Its not a huge issue but it is noticeable and frustrating. never seen this in other games. Secondly, due to my resolution I cant see the entire HUD. My gun/money/location/objectives and other things are missing. I can see the map and phone though which is good. Is there any way I can adjust the safe zone size manually via console or configuration file. The slider in settings is not wide enough. Any ideas? Thanks for reading
Bxx
I don't understand what is going on, well I was playing on a windows 7 partition yesterday and the game was running great on my low end rig, well by great I mean playable. So today I decide to play on my main windows 8.1 partition and I'm having a massive texture loading problem, I can't even play for 5 minutes without things like this happening: My specs are: Core 2 Quad Q8300 overclocked to 3.0ghz 4GB RAM (DDR2) EVGA GTX650 (not ti) 1GB These are weak specs, I know, but I was able to play with 30fps and no issues on w7. DentureDynamite
Using the latest version of GeForce Experience (2.4.1.21) to 'optimize' GTA V's graphical settings, appears to end up changing settings that exceed your 2GB of VRAM (~2.4GB). Still some textures don't load properly, like they only load when I come really close to them, but nothing game breaking so far such as roads disappearing. Thanks. _MK_
I think that monitoring programs such as MSI afterburner and FRAPS have caused the two crashes that i've had,ERR_GFX_D3D_INIT,this is not a fact but what makes me think so is because the error's happened while having them running, while without them i still haven't experienced any problems. My game was running fine until yesterday when I saw my GPUs LEDS light up red and I realized I didn't have MSI running. Alt+Tab to run MSI and my PC crashed. Now my game wont load past the picture I posted above. Its the screen right before the menu screen. Killersquirrel
If you get the error 'ERR_GFX_D3D_INIT' (it immediately gives this after launching - see spoiler), then chances are something went wrong during the installation of the latest patch. I googled a bit, and stumbled upon this link: https://mega.co.nz/#!b9YH2a7J!--mcJar5NaPNE_5PIql1rG7k0MQDAGq2KVzGNcsT3Z0 Install that one, and it might fix your issue. I started getting the ERR_GFX_D3D_INIT error after playing for several hours and found the solution, simply run GTAV_Setup_Tool.exe and select 'Repair'. It takes about 5-10 seconds and problem solved! Where do one find this "GTAV_Setup_Tool.exe" ? I cannot seem to find it anywhere. I am having that same problem with ERR_GFX_D3D_INIT First it was happening every 5-10 mins then i reinstalled and verified cache and similar things now it happens once every hour or so but it still crashes from it. Does anyone know any fix? Edited April 17, 2015 by Killersquirrel
