Bonaldo
This is how it looks on my end Yeah, looks similar on my PC It doesn't seem to be caused by too weak hardware because other than the weird stutters, the game runs smooth. It's the issue of drivers or the game itself, and we can only hope it'll be fixed soon with driver update or game patch Edited April 14, 2015 by Bonaldo
MithosSama
AMD FX-8150 8core @ 3.6GHz16GB RAMAMD R9 270X 2GB graphics card I tried both the stable and the optimized beta drivers, but I still get stuttering like in the last half of the video that has been posted previously. Doesn't matter where I am, in a shootout, a race or just standing still and doing nothing, I keep getting those stutters which make the game borderline unplayable! I constantly need to retry a mission because I either miss my shots, can't turn a corner and crash or just get too annoyed during cutscenes because it's all so choppy! The game runs butter smooth otherwise with no issues no matter what I turn on or off, but even if I play at the lowest settings I -still- get the stuttering.I really hope this will be fixed soon because it's ticking me off. BS_BlackScout
i3 3220 750 Ti and 8GB, light to mid stuttering when driving, rarely heavy stuttering. Bad optimization? Maybe for low Specs.

Amazing. I can`t believe I even pre-ordered it. First and last time I pre-order anything R* related. Oh and I love the supports answer: "reinstall", this thing weights 60Gb and you expect me to reinstall? And you know what even more funnier? My brother who uses a PC that slightly falls out of the minimum recommended settings and runs the game on lowest settings with 25-45 FPS is not getting any of this. Bonaldo
Ok, I THINK I found a fix You NEED to download optimized settings in Geforce Experience. After that, you can max them out in game anyway, and the stuttering should be gone or at least be very rare If it doesn't help, you can also try turning off Shader Cache in the NVIDIA control panel and/or disabling Vsync in the game Edited April 14, 2015 by Bonaldo GN 92 and Evan-KCR
helioNz4R
Most likely a VRAM issue, no stuttering with my 980.

The performance gets worse the longer you play the game. Probably some memory leak. They need to fix it with a patch. UltraGizmo64

GTA IV also had problems with memory leaks Rockstar didn't learn their lesson GTA V seems to be a better port than GTA IV, but it's still not perfect Edited April 14, 2015 by Bonaldo BS_BlackScout, UltraGizmo64 and Vice City criminal
xPubHD
Stuttering here aswell. I have an i7 4790k and an GTX 960 (MSI) clocked at 1367MHz. It might be an driver issue or a game issue. I hope this gets fixed tho. It was hella hard escaping the cops in my Elegy.
liniuxs
It's definitely eating a lot of memory. 8GB on high settings it's not enough. I notice myself after a bit of playing the memory usage gets high and then start consuming pagefile which slows down game and starts stuttering. Not sure is the game having some memory leak/clearing problem or is just 8gb not enough these days. Also video memory hungry too.

On my 8GB rig it eats only around 1,7 GB on ultra settings, but yet the performance decreases and stuttering inensifies the longer I play the game, despite having plenty of RAM left

gdfsgdfg
Having this stuttering intensifying thing too and its such a shame the game works very flawlessly with everything maxed until that happens the game hasn't actually crashed or had texture glitches its just slowing down to a crawl as time goes on until it becomes a slideslow. The only way to fix it is to set texture quality to normal, sucks I know, rockstar really needs to step up their game because this game is ridiculous considering the graphics aren't any different than Crysis 3 arguably.
