Simply Logic
During intense gunfights i don't find this too big of a deal because of the way GTAO was designed but i can't help but to notice even when i achieve the kill i attemp that after i use all 50 of my bullets i want to change weapons during my reload so i can continue shooting but in GTAO it doesn't allow you to do this so instead of changing weapons you need to wait hanging your head around vulnerable to being shot while reloading your weapon. The combat roll is useless for this because if you use it while reloading to try to quickly switch a weapon it won't matter because your character will return to just reloading his weapon after the combat roll is complete. Maya Echo Visari
If the musket didn't suffer from reload restraining I'd actually use it from time to time.. Simply Logic

I actually agree with you on this issue, it is pretty dumb that we can't cancel the reloading animation and switch weapons. Simply Logic
Pegger420
I always tell lower level crewmen that if you are seeing the reload animation you are doing it wrong. (Musket excluded) You need to swap weapons before your ammo is exhausted and you can switch right back if you like. I often switch between my AR and Combat MG. Work at it and it will become natural.
