AdaChanDesu Posted April 14, 2015 Share Posted April 14, 2015 (edited) As the title states: I'd be extremely glad if someone could provide me with a torrent (or any alternate DL source, really, that's not going to go at an astonishing speed of 50 kb/s) for the retail version's five gig update, as well as the day one release patch. I'm still waiting for my FedEx to arrive with two copies of the game and I'd like to save some time by getting those files ASAP. RGSC's download speed is abysmal as of this moment, and coupled with the fact my internet is kind of unreliable as well as sh*tty, well... I really could use me some torrent. NOTE: No, this is not about piracy. No, I'm not going to pirate the game, nor do I intent on participating in the act in any way. I bought the X360 and PS4 versions despite the fact I abhor gamepad shooting controls, hence I would ESPECIALLY do the same with the PC Master Race release. Those files are completely useless and are only text codes added by rockstar to screw over pc gamers with additinal 4.5GB to bring tension to us PC Gamers (although I also play on console). Hell, if I had known how slow sh*tty R*'s downloader was, I would have torrented the whole game in 8hrs and then used the installer to validate it and make it playable instead of 24 hours of slowness. You're downloading game assets that aren't intended for public distribution. Which is why it was taken down. When will people learn to think for themselves and not let others tell them whats right or wrong. And the link was taken down for some other reason, it's a website to pirate stuff ffs, they wouldn't take it down because it's not inteded for the public lol. I was simply stating that the patch still includes copyrighted soundtracks, artwork, textures, etc. Which is why it's still piracy. Also torrents on that site are constantly being DMCA'd. Or is this thread about avoiding payment for the game, just because you don't want to wait,to me it's just seems that you put up a elaborate post to find out where you can get the patch to play your downloaded torrent gta5, ffs it's only £40 for the game. If he is waiting for it to be delivered then it must of been paid by card.
