(PC) Never-Ending Social Club Loading screen Bug.

There is another post with this same problem but I am making this more in depth, so people know exactly what is going on.

 

I have made my rock-star account. I have logged in, all fine. After I log in the social club application goes into this screen here http://imgur.com/wAUkUYX..and stays that way, I had it there for 2 hours thinking it was downloading or installing something. The pictures change constantly, so it has not frozen and is responding. But it is stuck loading, every few seconds I see ''RETRY'' pop up in the bottom right hand corner..but it is only there for .5 of a second and then it continues to load..I think the problem is social club is failing to connect to a server of some kind and it is automatically selecting ''RETRY''...causing it to enter an endless loop.

 

I am not a computer genius, just my 2 cents..Hope it gets fixed soon, re-installing the game and social club has not worked for me either.

I would imagine so, considering the game runs through Social Club xD. Only way would be to crack it but of course that is not right and would lead to problems. It is a sad day when the only way you can play a game you payed for is to crack it which I could do with an illegal version.

 

Just gonna have to wait it out I guess.

Maybe GTA V is so popular, that their servers are overloading ??? I have no idea and I'm very sad

block all the game exe's in firewall, forceign the game into offline mode, then the game loads straight away. Cant play online mode obviously, but you can atleast play singleplayer till they fix this.

I FOUND A FIX. Simply run the game as administrator. This worked for me

Have you tried reinstalling Social Club, running the game as administrator or

 

Start Menu > Documents > Rockstar Games > Social Club > Profiles

 

There was a folder in Profiles named 2547AC96. I deleted this folder.

 

Made sure there was any active GTAVLauncher.exe in task manager.

 

Restarted with Steam and it let me activate the game. Source

 

 

Alternately:

Go to:

 

C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Local

 

and delete the folder "Rockstar Games". After that my Launcher started without problems!auncher started without problems
