topeira
hi guys. im using an AMD R9 280 3gb card and if i enable MSAA of any type i get strange artifacts on the right lower corner of my screen. i read another thread about someone who was wondering why he has this artifact but i couldnt locate that thread a second time. anyways, does anyone have a clue on how to get rid of these artifacts and STILL use MSAA? LawasDS
I reported it to Rockstar. It kinda seems to be fixed if you set MSAA to whatever you want and then reestart the game tho. Worked a couple times for me but I just ended up taking MSAA out since it ate my fps too much. resbas and Einsteinbomb
V8VANTAGE
I get the same symptoms but only if I set PostFX to the highest setting. I switch it to any other setting and those artifacts have gone instantly.
Ash_735
Max Payne 3 had some problems with MSAA causing huge performance hits and some graphical errors here and there on some cards, so it might just be an overall problem with RAGE and MSAA? CrAzZyKiLLa
yeaI'm using newst beta driver, I now have MSAA set to x4 and fxaa on also and got rid of the artifacts by turning down Postfx to high from very high and now its gone with no obvious loss in graphics quality, anyone know exactly what this setting does other than disable motion blur
vLaDz
Bump, this has to be fixed by either Rockstar or AMD releasing another driver.

vLaDz
Bump, rolled back to 15.3, same bug but the new driver is really amazing, with the old one i cant even do 2x MSAA and i've been playing for 2 days on 4x MSAA with the new one, just please fix those artifacts, when you turn Post FX on High you can't use depth of field effects .
