Alabeo
I have enabled tesselation and DX11 in options but I just don't see the difference (for example Michael's house, where there is white gravel). Is Tesselation even working?

Lexus.V
I also cant see the differences The same like in Max Payne 3, tesselation gives nothing
RisingRedWolf
It's definitely there for me. Make sure you have a video card that's capable of doing tessellation and if you do, make sure the drivers are completely up to date. There should be a massive difference in the gravel if you have tessellation on the highest setting vs the lowest.
Thalyn
Bad suprised for me too, I haven't noticed a lot of "massive difference" with or without Tesslation. There are some differences, but not as much as expected (and not as much as others games). In Dying Light for example, the Tesslation give some huge differences, but on GTA V, it's very very slightly. And i have a GTX 780 with the latest driver, this card is widely capable to handle the Tesslation. SilverRST
K20
whats there to tesselise though? the roads are flat, so are building. maybe a little in the wilderness but hills are map drawn.
DentureDynamite
FWIW (at least on my GTX 760 system), using GeForce Experience to optimize GTA V switches Tesselation off, and turns on VSync.
xy-maps
Wich texture Settings are you using? On low textures there is not much tesslation, only on very high textures you see the difference...
Gameassassin1020
Rain puddles look ridiculously HD. Made the road look flat and a illusion persisted where my car was floating. Messed with my eyes XD
Antaxi
tessellation work only on rocks and trees thats all if you want to see the effect check some palms, oaks and other threes or gravel near Michael house
Conwin
It seems inconsistent. Some of the rocks (like the ones on Michales drive) seem worse than the PS4 version even when tessellation is set to 'Very High'. However, I've noticed some different trees, bushes and walls that are tessellated quite well.
Alabeo
Yeah, I am using "high" tesselation and high texture resolution. Not much difference.
shurik
Hi. Can someone confirm that parallax (relief) mapping works on PC. I don't see any displacement effect on railway as it was shown in this video: I have my graphics settings maxed out, buy noticed parallax effect only on few hills. gtx 770 latest nvidia drivers http://www.nvidia.ru/download/driverResults.aspx/83856 Thanks
The_XXI
Tesselation is beautiful on my part, yet buggy, some artifacts fly around when on High or Very High.
Braindawg
The white gravel effect is not tessellation. It's under Shader Quality I think. Set it to Very high and tell me if there's any difference. You should also have textures set to High. The effect you're talking about is called Parallax Occlusion. .
