Look im writing this really to garner some support from you the GTA community in relation to the recent release of the PC edition on GTA V. Firstly let me point out im not a PC hater or console fan boy. Im just a guy who is a avid fan of GTA and feels that Rockstar has let the film making community down. May it be stunters , machinima makers like myself or just people who like to make funny clips of their friends goofing around. The Rockstar director tool is a MUST for the film making community. why? Rockstar made the masterpiece in GTA V. the definitive open world experience. were you can do missions with friends or just socialise and have fun. each player has a different experience. the game has been kept relevant but the constant updates from Rockstar keeping the GTA community interested with new and exciting content and with latest update from Rockstar in the form of Heists fans of the series have been really treated to something special.....but this doesnt mean we are not grateful. Rockstar is a business and they need an angle from which to pitch their sale to the PC gamers of the world. And exclusive content is exactly how they plan to do it. my problem with this is not that PC have an exclusive. to be honest if they got an extra heist mission or extra vehicles it wouldn't bother me as much its the fact that software such as the editor is a massive update. look what snapmatic has done for the game people have greated movie scenes or just some beautiful works of digital art by using the tool provided. now PC has a significantly better tool to edit and create videos of fresh content. this renders the machinima community on xbox one or ps4 at a major disadvantage. many console gamers have supported the franchise from day one buying on realise date. then rebuying on next gen buying shark cards to enjoy the content Rockstar has realised ..are we meant to shell out more money for a third copy? i have a proposed a petition to get 1000 signatures for Rockstar to add this to next gen consoles both xbox one and ps4 but i need you guys to support this share it and sign on the dotted line and make your voice heard. signing is easy. you sign using facebook or make a account. the facebook is quick and easy. i have opened a ticket with Rockstar and a member of their team kai got back and urged me to get people to support this. please lets make our voices heard and get this content for our GTA V Error2k and FATMANYOU2 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Personally I don't have a problem with it. I'd rather be playing the game than making movies with it, though I can understand why people would want the feature. Haha365 1 Signatures are dumb anyway. V runs on PCs that have less power than a PS4, so your point is completely moot. Besides, I see in the PC section that the glorious masterrace mostly has sh*t, low end hardware, and they'll be using it... I just got a nice new MSi gaming laptop, it'll run V just fine at high settings, but the video editor has no appeal for me - I'll just keep playing on PS4 and not worrying about it. Marco veddi Posted April 14, 2015 Author Share Posted April 14, 2015 Video record is one thing yes but the editor allows alot more than that for example you can place objects any where you can also spawn items people etc as well and most importantly place cameras at various angles etc. So its much more than just a case of recording what's on screen it gives depth. This game is running on low end hardware just fine, which is funny that there is A LOT of in the pc threads considering "da master race" The feature is cool and I will use it on my pc and would like it to come to consoles but I doubt it will, not because limitations, but because R* wants pc players to feel like they got that cool feature that no one else does( usually happens when a game is ported to another platform) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Tell me, what does it do for you when you call someone who plays video games differently than you a peasant? Does it build your self confidence if not only for a few minutes? Does it fill in those holes in your life that are empty? Please, shed some light on why neckbeards and teenagers take graphics on old video games so seriously? Does it help you escape your boring life? Or are you still bitter than from 2011-2014,you were lied to, ignored, disregarded, and thrown to the side? I would like to have the video editor for consoles, I would be amazed actually, but I feel like Rockstar's just gonna make a dumb down version of it. Obviously, it was kind of annoying at first to read due to how OP started a petition, asking for features that were advertised and ALREADY announced as "PC Exclusive" and thus produced a sense of anger in me, so it should come as no surprise to you, that why I had to type 'peas..' but then I hesitated and stopped myself from saying it. The point is that the DMode should remain as PC Exclusive only because Rockstar made a selling point and unique as a feature for the people interested in buying for PC especially for the second-third time. So, its more about keeping the word and holding on to it. By starting a petition and asking them to no longer keep it exclusive and make it available to the NG consoles sounds quite honestly a pretty cheap and selfish move from OP. And all this, for what? I mean, what kind of a major disadvantage is he talking about that separates the consoles from PC from affecting the actual experience of gaming? Making videos is simply an additional form of non-profit entertainment. Is he upset to miss on the opportunity of sharing the videos created in the director mode and profit from it, or what? If i where a PC owner id vote for console owners to get this update. Because really at the end of the day this is quite a significant update. Its not like a few guns or cars or even heist missions this is a massive update. Also as for a previous comment about wanting to make videos for money. My channel isnt partnered i have very small sub base and I don't indeed on making money its really just for fun with friends.
