Endless loading screen + launcher not showing up?

Yesterday night when GTA V came out I was able to open the launcher, what got stuck in the endless loading screen after signing in the social club. I gave up, shut off the computer, went to sleep, and now, 8 hours later even the endless loading screen doesn't show up. I press the button on steam to open the game, I can see the launcher opening in the task manager and then shutting off after like 10 seconds.

 

I've restarted my computer a few times, closed and opened steam many times, but I haven't tried to delete and re-install the game yet because I really don't want to because that takes a long time. Is there anything else I could do?
