I would buy GTAO DLC that offered any of the following

-80's concept dlc

-san fierro

-north yankton

-las venturas

-vice city

-any dlc that opens up the f*cking restaurants

Depends. If it's like an LSC update with added parts, wheels, paints, and it expands the general customizability of cars (especially the ones without body mods), I'd be all over it. Or if it adss really cool cars like tuners, muscle cars, classic supercars, etc. If it's just some clothes, weapons or game modes then f*ck that.

If they came out with an interiors pack or a map expansion I'd buy the f*ck out of that.

No.

I'm still wearing the same clothes I bought in December 2013, and my car situation is doing fine. More maps would be cool, but not sure how that could work as a paid DLC for online, it would have to separate everyone up in different servers which wouldn't be a good thing. Single player map expansion DLC maybe. But even then, probably not. I have not touched single player since starting online.

I think the only way to really work around this whole thing would be to do something along the lines of a RL ~$20 (1,000,000GTA$) plane ticket to unlock the new island that way I'm sure many people would purchase a shark card but for those who can't or really don't want to wouldn't be forced to spend real cash and the player pool wouldn't be divided up.

Either it could be entirely accessible without paying for the plane ticket but you automatically get a 5 star level and no Pegasus/mechanic calls making it near impossible to really explore or they can just place an invisible wall around it until you unlock it.. With something at the price of $20 though I'd expect a map extension quite near the size of what we currently have with a new city and more countryside.

let me ask you this question if say rockstar makes a dlc map pack for LC and it cost $30 for it that includes 150 new cars only in LC( you can bring them back to LS) and 200 new missions and let's say the slamvan2 is the elusive vehicle to liberty city and it comes with options of exclusive colors and 10,000,000 preorder it and another 10,000,00 don't that makes 20 million you miss the slamvan2 for not preordered rockstar makes 600 million in slaes would you guys buy it? I would think so

I may be one of the few but I really couldn't care much to see Liberty City in GTAO.. I mean it'd be cool to have another city but I've already explored nearly every inch of LC, I want a new map extension for the sake of something new to explore, for less than $30 I can go out and buy rebuy IV. Considering it's already been made I couldn't see myself forking out cash for it really.

Not to mention geographically speaking it'd make more sense to add LV and SF first being as they're right next to LS as it is while LC should be on the entire opposite end of the country.

I can't wait to pay for a DLC. Judging by what we got for "free" like all the past DLC's and the major one - Heists (I know it was promised)
I'd expect that a paid DLC will be at least as good/big as Heists otherwise it has to be a really cheap one.
I expect:
A Casino DLC introducing gambling - Only people with DLC can enter the Casino.
More Heists DLC - You can opt on replaying the main 5 Heists and not buy it.
More Houses DLC - 1 or 2 new interiors; Introduction of high-end houses with at least 10 car garages(why not 15-20); Hopefully we'll finally be given the option to habitate some of the truly beautiful houses across LS and BC.
Map extension/New town/s DLC - That one I'm trully looking forward to. I'd pay up to 60EUR/80USD for it without even blinking.
SP DLC - Since I hit 100% I no longer play SP. If/when this dlc hits the stores I'd be the first to buy it tho. Would be brilliant no doubt.

I think that cars, clothes, makeup, masks, weapons and all this stuff should remain free or be added as additional content to the above mentioned DLCs.

PS: My respect towards R* is lower than ever before but GTA V and Online are still masterpieces and the addition of Online Heists finally made the game feel complete and finished.

I'd consider it.

As long as the content was desirable, the price reasonable, and you actually get the in-game content for "free" in the game.

I'm personally not too bothered about clothes and masks, but I would be very interested in new vehicles and private/personal hangers where you can customize and store aircraft. And of course map additions would be amazing, but I'm never going to hold my breath for that.

ive paid for DLC on many games, none of them were worth it.....Im grateful for how things are now....the game would be less populated if DLC were charged

why you guys are adamant on spending extra money is beyond me....cash cards are optional, DLC comes and is free

*******edit******

i didnt answer the question, I would cos I love this game and earn money, but I wouldnt like it to change to that from how it is now

i would, if its worthy content. better yet, if we can unlock DLC's with gta$ would be better. they can charge 1,000,000 gta$ to unlock the DLC and additional cost per items.

No, well maybe for single player DLC, since the content in GTA IV for example wasn't all that bad. But I will not ever pay one cent just for some f*cking clothes, skins or weapons that.everyone could just own through some stupid glitch anyways, and you know exploiters will find a way to do so eventually.

Only if it were a substantial expansion.

Like Undead Nightmare type or Single Player DLC.

A map expansion would be an instant buy. I'd throw my wallet at my tv.

I would never buy any dlc for this game

I would also really consider sueing them as they have stated many times all dlc for this game will be free and that would mean they are false advertising

which is illegal because it's a form of cohesion

In light of these facts there will prob never be a Paid dlc

R* wouldn't be that stupid to open themselfs up to a lawsuit

Never mind the fact that every player would be able to sue

It would literately run the company bankrupt

If it's Alien Nightmare? ABSOLUTELY!

Undead Nightmare for Red Dead was a revelation and I would love to see something like this for GTA.

they have said it many times in interviews(which is considered a form of promotion)want proof there is this magic thing called Google I will. there is a difference though we never signed a legal biding contract that states said company will give us free things, albeit dlc or what ever else they want. and like you said it's a promotion not a promise.

EDIT: I googled like you said I can't find you're said proof provide links to said proof.

You wouldn't be sueing for contract breach

Youd be sueing for false promotion which has nothing to do with contracts

A company can't just say anything they want to make you buy a product

whatever they say(promote) they have to live up to or else they are falsely promoting

that's why almost every ad or commercial has those little text at the bottom saying a disclaimer

R* never put a disclaimer on their interviews meaning their words can be taken literal

so if they don't live up to them they can be sued

I'd like if they just stayed free with higher than average costs to buy the items to imply shark cards, but still perfectly doable in regular gameplay.

you have no valid proof they said in an interview that all dlc will be free. provide an actual source.

But on a different note

If they do charge it's false advertising so it's never ever happening rockstar is to big of a company to ever make that mistake

plus they make more money off the current system
