Bonaldo
Did Rockstar disappoint again? I'm about to go to the store and buy the game. Can I expect it to run on ultra 1080p 60fps on i7 4790k, GTX 970 and 8GB RAM?

TheMostKnowledgable
Most well optimized and polished game since ever. Rivals call of duty MW2 and Black Ops 2, which is amazing when you think about it. Can I expect it to run on ultra 1080p 60fps on i7 4790k, GTX 970 and 8GB RAM? No. Maybe. Possibly. But you shouldn't anyway, not at 1080p. The game is designed to scale up to 4k. Some things you should ultra, but textures, just high is fine. Higher will look sandpapery and mip out so fast you might as well use high anyway. Same for the advanced graphics expanded draw distance. You simply don't need it, trust me. So if you find you can't run it Ultra, don't worry, because when you bump things back 1 notch and still keep some on ultra, you literally will not see a difference except regained performance. Trust me, I maxed it and the difference is minimal on this resolution to the point you can almost say it is non existent. MSAA would help and make those settings come through a bit more on 1080p, but ain't nobody got [processor] time for that. It's literally some next-next-gen-sh*t. People haven't really been showing shots yet, but I'm blown away at high/very high, with very little turned on ultra. FXAA only below, not even maxed - if I maxed it, I wouldn't even see it unless I zoom deep in. Not worth it to have to zoom in just to see the detail when everything from 10 feet away looks the same on high/very high cause the monitor resolution is only 1080p. You will be very satisfied, I assure. Edited April 14, 2015 by TheMostKnowledgable
Bitch Ass Bullshit
Ya, the game is optimized very well with the latest drivers. I heard people having stuttering problems with 970. At high Settings, VRAM consumption is 3.6GB and you know 970 is only 3.5GB VRAM lol, Also the RAM consumption is 6GB
Jimbatron
Played for 3 hours last night, still can't get over how impressive it was. If you don't have it for the PC, buy it. TheMostKnowledgable
ClaudeGnome
On my GTX 970 it plays wonderfully! Just keep the MSAA low.
