How are some people so bad at this game?

Asking how people are bad at the game is like asking how some humans are born male, and others female.

They just are. (Well, not that simple but I'm sure you get the point.)

To be fair once on that Humane Labs heist I wasn't issued any rebreathers and had to keep snacking whilst swimming through the tunnel... I almost made it.

If you have purchased your own personal rebreathers, the ones before you jump in the water during Humane Labs WILL NOT APPEAR! Once you've purchased your own, you'll need to restock them at AmmuNation or else, if you run out, you're f*cked (and you were).

...The guy trying to swim out of the tunnel drowns because he doesn't know how to equip a rebreather.

in all fairness...

there seem to be a bug that cause the rebreather to disappear once you get underwater.

i know, it happened to me, i almost drown while doing the mastermind challenge.

the rebreather disappeared, it was equipped but it wont show up in my face.

i managed to survive by eating over 100 P&Qs i had in my snack inventory.

other time i was doing Pacific Bank, escaping on the bike, a cop car lightly tapped the back of the bike, i didnt even felt, but that little tap was enough for the game to register a fail, saying i died, evenknow i was still calmly following my escape route.

so yeah, while sometimes is people being stupid, other times the game do things that make you fail.

Hmm, and how did you manage to get 100 P&Q's in your inventory?

There was an unintentional bug in last gen (on PS3, at least) where you could continue to pick up snacks off dead bodies in excess of inventory limits...I had over 40 EgoChasers in my inventory at one time, for example. I'm assuming it got patched.

I'm STILL picking up smokes. Only used a handful, and it was ither by mistake or when my character just smokes them. 223 and counting, since last gen.

People saying sorry they weren't paying attention or that they didn't read the instructions are unbelievably annoying and should be banned from heists.

I can't believe that people are so bad at this thread.

Why can't we all be identical, like what Karl Marx wanted?

I think people expect that since this is an adult game that they are playing with other mature adults and forget or dont realize the guy behind that other control can be only 10 years old. Kids that young can not focus and usually are in their own little world. Then again some people just suck.

QFT

rugrat ADD syndrome usually kicks in after the 3rd - 4th time the heist fails since these kids typically use the same dumb ass tactics they do in FM

Did some missions last night. Landing Strip.. one guy dies twice, all good. I clear out the baddies and let the other dude that was riding in my savage fly the plane while I go clear his run way..

Dude does circles over Sandy Shores Air Field.. and tries to land while still circling the runway.. the long.. straight strip that planes land on.. circles.

Kill me.

It's been said before, but I will say it again.

What really bothers me along with being something I still cannot comprehend, is how some people show that they are simply incapable of basic reading skills. The f*cking instructions appear at the bottom of the screen along with tips and tricks on the upper left side of the screen. Plus, Rockstar was nice enough to color coordinate the objective/target. In my opinion there is no excuse to be a dumba**, flying and landing the helicpoter in the Humane Labs parking lot. It clearly says "fly to the DROP OFF."

It's just part of the game especially when playing with randoms. Got to remember some of these people are maybe new to the heists and haven't watched any videos or tried them before, I know personally I have had a few stupid moments in some of the Heists when I first played them, but you learn through experience. For example I did the Pacific Standard finale for the first time with a random crew last night and I made a couple of mistakes, but we did it in the end. One of the times we did the bike jump and my falling bike actually hit another players parachute and killed them.

The one thing I can't understand perhaps not tolerate is people not taking cover. Going all John Rambo against this AI more times than not ends in death, get into cover first thing and assess.

Little 14 year old punks effing love this game, and most of the time they happen to suck at video games.

That probably makes up for 80% of the sucky players.

I've messed up once, by not reading.. sh*t happens. Like jtattersalluk stated you learn from experience. Also like StangOne50 said it could be a 10 year old playing.

Yesterday it took me 41 minutes to complete the fleeca heist finale because the other guy took so long to hack (20 minutes) and so long to drill (15 minutes)

Yeah I hate that drill I will never do a Fleeca if I am the driller.

OP isn't actually KatyPerry so everything said by said OP can't be the truth.

So...you think Katy Perry is a beacon of truth? Is she your guru? Do you follow her teachings? Does emotional music have quite an effect on you?

Discuss in 5000 words or less. Deadline: Monday morning.

I think a lot of users probably just skip right on over to online as soon as they get the game, without playing at all on one player and figuring out how the game works. That's the only logical explanation I can think of.

Doing these mistakes is fine, we live and learn. What irritates me , however, is the Rambo sh*t. Some idiots think they're invincible and get killed in every heist.

Its really funny when a low level does it

I've never had less faith in humanity than when playing Heists with randumbs.

I can't say I had it the worst though. My poor friend had people fail a mission for him 54 times.

The worst I've had was 15 on the yacht. Worst pilot in the group keeps taking the helicopter and keeps crashing into the boat. And if we even make it on board, the same dumbass Rambos and dies.

I don't care if you're a casual player or not. Use your head, basic common sense.

And lastly.

THE GAME f*ckING AIMS FOR YOU.

It would be nice if most of the players were old enough to actually read the instructions. They haven't developed basic reading skills yet.

Without looking at the answers, the answer is "they don't play video games all the time".

And of course the 5% who will always press the wrong button and run the wrong direction with the wrong weapon in hand.
