I was watching a chaboyy and jackfrags live stream last night.. They were being spawn killed by a group of three in an insurgent pickup within the first 10 minutes online.

I do actually prefer PC games over console games because of the modding(well its easier)

I wish I had my pc complete I only have a motherboard a video card and a psu ,I miss the keyboard and mouse I guess I'll stick to my ps4 for a while

PS3 was actually pretty peaceful at the start. I think it's because there really is loads of stuff to do in the game. On PS3 a minority of players started hunting others in free roam when they got a bit bored with the game. Then pretty much everyone else started shooting on sight as a form of self defense, assuming everyone who came close was coming for them. So now we are at the current on-going deathmatch that is GTAO on PS3 and PS4.

Yeah, I can understand that. It's one of the things that puts me off though, unless there's a way to ensure you don't enter a session that is somehow modded. I don't like other people choosing how I have to play.

I dont know if you have ever played pro evolution soccer before but they dont have the real licensed kits so you can download them(unoffically) from fan sites

It is always calm before the sh*tstorm. I'd give it a week, or at best a month before people figure out the ins and outs of the game's code. Aftwards hellfire will rain from the skies of Los Santos(if this does happen, I take zero responsibility), huge carrier jets will crash onto the streets, and players with the Jesus npc model will activate God Mode and lay waste to lobbies. I just don't want other players to be able to (for example) join my session on the back of a T-Rex with lazer eyes and fire breathing capabilities, whilst they're holding a BFG they copied directly from the model files of a 90's game. If there's no way that modders can enter public lobbies in such a manner then that's cool, otherwise it makes playing online a total no-go.

 

It's not my area of expertise. I have friends that were heavily into the modding scene, particularly with Half Life, but it's not something I've ever had anything to do with.

I'm waiting until the "Omg hacker in pc gta:o" threads start appearing lol. As soon as a mod menu, etc is released then the sh*tstorm that is last-gen hacking will start but 10 times worse hehe. Enjoy it while you can though, try to make friends so you have people to play with if online on pc does get taken over by modders.

 

Seeing as how easy it is to use mods on pc(no jailbreak required etc), its obvious whats going to happen *cough* GTA IV *cough*

How retarded would it feel using a mouse and keyboard to play GTA?. That would be even worse than playing with inverted aim turned off. Wouldn't surprise me if some little kids use a mouse and inverted off all at once for maximum unco effect.

 

How retarded would it feel using controller and auto-aim in first person? A mouse is much more precise than an analog-stick. For free-aim people the better device.

Precise maybe but if you are going to claim precise is better you better start aiming with your finger on a touch screen. Mouse aiming is the biggest failure in gaming history. (Other than when non inverted aim became the default setting on most games), the downfall of humans began that day .

I will be getting it for PC, but not for the editor feature. Only to have it on PC.

 

Nothing beats an Elgato with Song Vegas for editing.

Actually, I take that back, the PC editor is a lot better since you can move the camera around ect in editing.
