PC Online freeroam is so peaceful

Seriously, I have yet to run into an individual that's first instinct is to pistol whip me in a +16 lobby. Probably due to the fact that 80% of the lobbies consist of players that just finished the tutorial. I hope it stays like this for a long time. Also if you ever come across a random player, all you need to do is let them know that you're not a lunatic in the new lobby chat system which seems to work effectively.

Even with console players they seem a lot friendlier. Although I did shoot a few people cus I could to test out how the mouse aiming felt.

 

Also, you can play with friends who use controllers and aim assist without it affecting you if you want to use m/kb. It doesn't lock on at all when using mouse.

Yes, just like in GTA SA and IV. And we can finally use gamepads, while playing with friends, that use k/m only! =D

Yes, because getting a big f*cking warning about how it MAY put you at a disadvantage and cooperative gameplay is kinda unfair.

It's quite a bit like how people would like to be able to play free aim without being forced to go to aim assist. It's great. I think pvp on this game is f*cking stupid and not to be taken seriously, ever, so I don't care about that discrepancy anyway. I just want friends to play with on it now so that we can do things together and I'll just be the guy that doesn't suck at driving since I want to use a controller for seamless driving purposes lol

Yeah, already on 360 i never really started to hunt players, as they usually go into passive mode or leave immediately. i hope i can find some cool ppl as fast as on the 360 to do heists and missions... ^^

i've played for only about 10 minutes online before i passed out bc i was extremely tired so it's like i haven't played online at all. don't shout at me.

also, how do i bring up the radio selection wheel and player list? couldn't find that in key bindings.

I always felt free roam would be better if it was forced free aim, and leave the coop stuff to auto aim.

How retarded would it feel using a mouse and keyboard to play GTA?. That would be even worse than playing with inverted aim turned off. Wouldn't surprise me if some little kids use a mouse and inverted off all at once for maximum unco effect.

Hahahahaha... oh man you just wait, in the coming weeks GTA Online will be unplayable on PC. You won't be able to find a session that isn't being completely controlled by hackers. You'll probably join a session and get repeatedly teleported into an infinitely exploding area along with the rest of the session.

Back in my IV multiplayer, there were peaceful free modes around. Until a f*cker joined in and put an end to the session.

I forgot just how annoying PC games can be at times, especialyl with the gazillion buttons to press..

 

(don't even get me started on weapon selection..)

 

Best way of playing IMO, is kind of hybrid keyboard + mouse/controller - especially using the controller for cars...

 

AWSD etc is pretty good in first person admittedly..

 

Now they just gotta sort them framerates..

 

I'm running it on a 16GB rig with an OC'd 4GB GTX 680 , i7 4930k @3.8GHz and it's still dropping down to 30 fps..

I can't see anything yet other than the graphics and an additional radio station, as well as user selected music..

 

I think I'll have some fun tonight though running round sessions of <lvl 10s, taking them out with a musket.. That should confuse the hell out of them..
