R.I.P Lost Slamvan (blacklisted on PC)

I still hope they take this all away for an upcoming DLC that releases all that stuff for millions of dollars for us to spend the glitched money...

 

I love my kuruma in missions, but to be honest, this is the only game breaking car out there. It is like driving in godmode (in missions, not so much in freeroam). Heists make barely fun when using this vehicle all the time. Just sit in there for 90% of the missions and shoot everyone with the AP. Not even a single bit of armor is lost.

So, out of 200 cars, let`s say, you simply CANNOT have fun if you can`t drive ONE of them, even if you COULD find another that is 95% the same volume, weight, class and handling.

It actually was. SOME of us weren't assholes about it. I had them because they were one of my favorite cars in TLAD, and I run an MC. It fits.

I had fun with dropping large vehicles on unsuspecting players with the cargobob until it was needlessly 'fixed'. And the grade insult is irrelevant as I finished school years ago and I ain't 'murican.....just sayin'.

Unfortunately most acted like that, but some of us were super excited about the Lost Slamvan and duping was the only way to get it. It'd still be in my garage if it wasn't uncontainable anyway. Only car I've ever duped or glitched too.

My take in all this is as follows: some things were never meant to be in the game - varying from the old ways of "exploiting" missions, all the way to vehicles that were never meant to be in the online version of the game. They might have been in it for too long, or not patched sooner, or they might have looked like they will get overlooked, it still won`t change the fact that they weren`t supposed to be there to begin with - either by mistake, or by not fitting in what Rockstar thinks online should look like.

 

Furthermore, some of the vehicles are glitched vehicles anyway, in various forms - from SP to MP, modded when they should`ve not been able to, etc.

 

For me, the game is still fun and can be fun with what is in it as it is. Some things will be missed, sure, but it is a gross exaggeration to say "no fun policy".

Still it's a bit dumb to get rid of things your customers are having fun with. Having people ride in the back of Titan / Mule / Cargobob was hilarious. Now it's all locked and they just cut back on ways you can have fun. I remember taking a Mule with my cargobob and having people on BMX jump into the mule, then taking them to the maze bank or to Chiliad.

Never argued against the problem of taking stuff OUT of the game, as opposed to putting stuff IN the game . But there could be reasons for that, reasons that we cannot see - like the infamous consoles locking with the pickup truck. Hell, I had a problem with the taking the old Rat Loader out also, but that was for different reasons, as it was an 1000% legit vehicle that I invested money in.

 

There are alternatives, however. And, while not being perfect replicas of what was had previously, they are there nonetheless. Throwing tantrums and screaming or yelling like a child is not the answer, and never has been

All three of those vehicles (except the dirt on the rat truck) look great and sound better.

I've stopped driving supers because I just don't like the way they drive, even though I like the way many of them look.

They can't right now as they simply check the name. Lost slamvan is slamvan2 which is why they can blacklist it. The bj with mike is not different by name but body style, they don't check for that. Once they do, say goodbye to any Yankton plates, custom paint on sovereign etc

Rockstar's no fun policy, and the fact some vehicles were ment to be Single player only and are utility vehicles. The lost Slamvan is an odd one.

 

Has no Interior.

Its not finished for use to be honest...

 

 

 

Also the vehicle has slim to no mass. A weeny can run it off the road, but it won't budge if you crash into it with the slamvan, even at high speed. It has almost 0 mass yet drives like it weights over 3 ton.
