Ash_735
The sounds are actually the same, just better quality for some (mainly the radio and cutscenes, etc) but the way they are arranged is still the same as ever, do you perhaps own better speakers for your PC than what you use on your TV? The sounds are most probably same quality as on the ps4.
r0llinlacs
Speakers would make half the difference. Signal makes the other half. It may sound better on PC if you have your sound settings set above the stock 16bit/44100khz. For example, mine are set at 24bit/96khz. It makes a very significant difference in music, FLAC files and even my MP3's because I have a plug-in that converts 16bit MP3's to 24bit, it makes all the difference in the world on music so it probably does the same with games. Ash_735
There is a chance some files might be playedback differently, different pitch alterations and such, sometimes Rockstar do this, they did it on Vice City Stories for example, some vehicles used the same files between PSP and PS2 but the pitch and playback was altered on PS2 to make them sound slightly different. I haven't got that far into the files yet to see how the game handles that kind of stuff, but that could be a possibility as well.
YESYESYES
They added some sound effects for sure. When I got in my Annihilator heli, the machine gun sounded different.
