SkittyM Posted April 14, 2015 Share Posted April 14, 2015 I just noticed that i don't have the "PlayGTAV.exe"-file in the gamefiles that i've seen Rockstar post about today! And whenever i try to launch the game using the other exe's, i get a warning on my computer to use the PlayGTAV.exe! Have any of you guys noticed if you have that file in the gamefiles? I don't wan't to reinstall this HUGE game....... Ive noticed this as well. Im also getting very frustrated with my launcher as it simply will not launch the game, and if it does, it wont launch properly, resulting in the PlayGTAV.exe message. Have to restart my PC just to play the game once every reboot. Yeah, it's frustrating as f***... But do you actually manage to get past the Steam "not wanting to launch"-sh*t? If i'm not mistaken, after you press play, and such, a social club window opens (and i've read many people have had problems with that aswell) and you have to log in. Do you get to that point? Some what, after i choose ether Story or Online, the Social launcher pops up like normal with "Loading" and then closes shortly after. At times it will launch the game (Launcher will auto sign me in and then close a second after that) but wont properly do it resulting in the game telling me to launch it from something that isn't even there. I have noticed that the launcher will close a second or two after the ingame overlay loads so im thinking its something with that. Another thing, after verifying my game, it seems to run a bit smoother now, course maybe thats because i put it in DX10.1 and not DX11, really bad texture popping on DX11 for what ever reason.
