Shof
For the steam preload, you do need double the disk space..fyi..My poor SSD just barely made it:
Little Red Nurgling
Well then, I guess that explains why it's still saying it's encrypted for me. Better back up and delete some stuff. EDIT: Or not. I guess a Steam restart solved that specific problem. Edited April 13, 2015 by Little Red Nurgling

Harout
So people were right, you need 65GB on the drive for the game to decrypt! lucky4ever

Insane Ruffles
Seriously, this isn't cool. I just had to delete 8 more games to make up for the space. I better get that space back, because GTA 5 alone isn't worth 1/4th of my entire drive.
r0llinlacs
Yep, a digital copy will always require double the disk space to install. You can get around this by downloading to and installing from an external drive.

SilentMage
Yup - I deleted two games (freed up 28GB total) and moved another 10GB onto my server - that 10GB I need to add back since they are mods for games I actively play, so GTA5 better clear out that "depotcache" folder once everything is 100% installed or I'm gonna be really upset. EDIT- I got the 65GB back post-install. THAT SAID... time to game!!! Edited April 13, 2015 by SilentMage Insane Ruffles

Shof
so can i copy the files over to my hdd then will that work? Create a new steam library to a folder on your hdd drive Close Steam Copy the contents of everything to the new folder Restart Steam and steam should pick up where it left off that worked for me
