Mass Instaspawn in Processed Survival

Has anyone else noticed this recently? About ten enemy npcs will spawn instantly, looks like clash of clans! They used to come in twos or threes gradually.

Probably to help make the simple Survival mode harder. Processed is one of the easiest Survivals to play solo if you know where the safe spot is.

It's actually more fun this way. LG (PS3) Survivals were so slow and easy, NG spawning causes a clusterf*ck of enemies, and it's funny watching my teammates die because they think they're Rambo... and they're only lvl 20! HA

Thanks for the replies, you're right it is more challenging but in a good way - I was shocked out of my complacency when I got killed!

I haven't done survival in a while, but I got it as a daily objective.

I may start doing them again :)

Good to know it was an intentional next gen improvement not lag!

R*s logic on making the game more difficult.

Lets spawn them all at one moment out of thin air. Terrible choice from R*, which only fuels the "kash kerd" conspiracy that its "bad programming" done on purpose to drain your money. Or maybe just bad game development.

I used to play survival on last gen but it feels as if R* has made no attempt to use a little innovation and creativity to enhance survival. Instead of 'mass instaspawn' where all the enemies look as if they hopped out of a teleporting clown car, each round could increase difficulty by making enemies spawn in more directions and further apart. Higher rounds would also make enemy AI attack players more cautiously by using cover and popping tear gas. But alas, R* don't see any lucrative output from fixing survival, so we're left with survival in its current state.
