Itzik_Maflitzik
Hello, recently I installed Windows Updates on my PC. However, when it booted, it started some sort of repair diagnosis. I looked at the cause of this problem and the line "bad hard disk" was on top. The question is: Will formatting both C and D solve this problem? (It might work but I doubt it) And I am 80% sure Bad Hard Disk means it's hardware is either damaged or burnt rather than corrupted software f*cking it up. EDIT: My PC and all its hardware are from 2009-2010. yoječ
Since this happened after installing an update, I'd assume that the problem is software related. Especially since I've also had a situation where a certain update caused Windows to stop booting. Formatting the system partition (most probably C) & reinstalling the OS should do the job. There's no need to format other drives. Edited April 13, 2015 by yojo2
