I've made plenty of videos on the PS4 using a decent external editor. What is really interesting me is the ability to use rockstar created characters and animals in your videos.

 

Can we make a bunch of wild animals attack trevor?

Well considering that the PC version doesn't launch until this evening we don't know yet.

It will be available in GTA Online, next time do a bit of research.

 

I said DIRECTOR mode, not EDITOR. Next time, go learn to read.

No it won't as what features and conditions it can control are not suitable for a Online session.

For the movie makers, mods combined with the director mode it could be an essential buy. But that would mean buying the game for the third time. If I did go for the PC version it would be purely for the video and graphical modding sides of things.

 

I'm quite handy with 3D modelling so looking forward to creating some models and textures for use in the game.

 

As Powerlight said, a lot will depend on if you can use your online characters in the director mode or is it purely for the single player side of things.

From the trailer it looks like the editor would translate pretty well to consoles. I've got my fingers crossed.

 

Also did anyone notice that the Social Club website has now been fully optimised for mobile?

You create the vids in an isolated session much like creating deathmatches/races/captures/LTS

So you won't be able to invite people in to help create scenes? Just seen the video that someone has made in another thread, it looks great but will be quite limiting if it's only the single player characters and not your online avatar.

Its on PC, just rip some of the npc models and animate them. Ultimate control.

Uh guys, this is the only shot on the Social Club section that has Xbox Controls instead of PC ones.

Granted it just may be like that for if you have an Xbox controller hooked up, but I just found that odd.

Yeah it's a setting that allows you to use a xbox controller most PC games have this now but it would be neat if rockstar would put this feature in next gen as well

The video I've seen was 2 minutes long, I did see that there is limit on content depending on how much of the game you've played and unlocked, could video time limits also be locked in a similar way?
