NPC's aim for you on purpose?

ok guys I tested this out with both my chars, the 1st level 200+ with max driving and the second level 4 with less than the 1st bar of driving skill

I KINDA see what you mean but I still don't think its that often or uncalled for....

Like I said earlier, step up your driving skill and take care, if you REALLY don't wanna crash, for the most part you shouldn't

Exhibit A and B driving non stop with no crashes for about 4-5mins straight with each....

Level 200+ character...

level 4 character...

ten-a-penny

Because my driving skills isn't maxed out.

Lol, I feel like I'm probably the only one who can drive a super and not crash. Even in SP where the traffic is dense I don't crash around. Let alone in MP.

Point is, the drivers are sh*t. Look at A Maned Wolf's GIF. He was driving normally (slowed down when he saw an NPC) and the f*cker literally drive through his line and cutting him off. Now tell me that the guy is shot at driving.

thats a short gif of one incident.....how many times does it happen in near 10 mins of straight driving?

maybe you drive reckless and spook em....like on the opposite side of the road, maybe world activities like gun fire and police chases make them react in such a way

but from the video as you can see, im driving recklessly, on the wrong side of the road at times and going in/out and inbetween cars.......none of them aimed for me

bare in mind none of the vids are edited, just straight driving, not one isolated incident

Sorry I don't have four arms to record and play at the same time. MAYBE they don't act like this all day but in missions they do this all the f*cking time.

Just because you have a different experience than me it doesn't mean that nothing happens on my end.

I just love the NPC's that do stupid stuff like this:

http://i.imgur.com/bAgrsBc.gifv

I think in that example the Carbonizzare thinks you are moving to the left onto his side of the road, so he thinks he's avoiding a crash by moving to your left. I think it's often the case that NPC's doing inexplicable things while driving is actually just very clumsy AI trying to get out of your way and wildly overcompensating.

I do however firmly believe that NPC's in missions and races are out to get you, I first noticed it during a mission in San Andreas where a car would always come out of the same side street to block you off every time I replayed it, it's the same principle now just a more 'sophisticated' version of it with a more random element to it.

I respect your opinion but two 5 minute videos does not prove that it is our fault that the NPC's lose there minds on the road sometimes.

i don't recall anyone saying anything about driving wreckless or on the wrong side of the road but you. Most of the time it's approaxhing intersections but it can happen just driving down a road. That gif is pretty much what we're talking about, so you can't say these incidents don't happen.

I would make a video rebuffing you but I don't feel like it. :-). We'll have to agree to disagree.

Also you seem to have some driving skill if you want to race on ps4 free aim add JakeHorgrove.

On a serious note, reading through your posts in this thread, you've made some very good points and offer an alternative view, which is far more reasonable than what the OP and various others have stated . You really don't need to act arrogant and condescending, but hey I respect your opinion.

More than you think.

I should show how bad the NPC's act when you are on bikes and slow trucks....

no they dont prove full stop but comparing it to a short 5 second gif.....and the fact that its un-edited pure driving at speed....I mentioned other side of the road ect because that is how every1 drives...every1 in this game.....and driving recklessly is generally waht makes npc drivers react

I must be playing a different version of the game because missions or otherwise im not under the impression the drivers are out to get me

or maybe people are just not as good at dodging cars

Your video is like making a vid of someone standing outside in the rain for 10 minutes, and then saying its proof people don't get struck by lightning because it doesn't happen in your vid.

I hear what your saying but discounting what people experience and saying people just aren't good at dodging cars it sounds a bit ridiculous and short sighted. Making generalizations about everyone driving wreckless isn't helping make your point. Saying the gif is an isolated incident while multiple people are experiencing this rings of Rockstar's great support team telling me the matchmaking is somehow my internets fault.

You must be playing the LL version of GTA :-)

we'll have to agree to disagree, I play this game alot (I made a whole PSN just for gta btw) I drive a lot and I also watch people drive/ watch youtube videos/sit as a passenger while people drive...A LOT lol

of course every1 will not experience the same thing...but you seem to be missing my point..the question being do NPCs aim for you while driving...

while I have acknowledged the fact that NPC drivers can act irrationally I also offered the reasoning that ONE of the reasons may be due to OUR OWN driving

yes the NPCs react to us, but does that mean THEY AIM FOR US I don't think so....

I showed you unedited footage 10mins long compared to a gif 5 seconds long..which didnt even show what happened prior or the radar/wanted stars..nothing....the gif in fact showed that the NPCs will try to get out of your way, evasive manoeuvres may lead you astray but they are not "aiming for you"

yes they can cut you off but remember you can only be cut off if you are attempting to overtake...who is in the wrong here if a collision occurs?

and about your lightening analogy...its more like some1 showed a gif of themselves standing outside in a thunderstorm holding a long metal pole then getting struck by lightening, lasting 5 seconds long........while I show a 10min long video of me standing in a thunderstorm with no metal but not getting hit

that's more accurate, don't tempt fate by driving crazy........... and my point is, it's gta! we ALL drive crazy...but don't come here and cry about it when you crash...it happens

You have no rights to speak for everyone. I don't drive like that at all, be it in missions or not, unless I'm driving my Insurgent.
