hornedturtle
I boot anyone under lvl 50 from my heists unless they have a mic. if they have a mic i at least give them the chance I got to rank 50 when low level missions payed a tenth of what they do now, and the amount of rp gained was based on your rank. Getting to lvl 50 is extremely easy compared to the day 1 players. Considering some standard missions are unlocked at rank 80....it doesn't make sence for heists restrictions to be set so low. My Name Is Karen
I have a female character, and she looks ok. I got her red high heels, casual glasses, a nice business dress and a red skirt. I really wish it would look like me in the face design sorta terms. The dark spots in the face are horrid. I have old gen so I have to live with it. As for the levels on the heists, starting at level 12 is not that of a great level set. A level 50 would be fine. If youre a low level and really want to host a heist, youll reach that level. Tbh, I cant stand low levels IMO. Im a level 122 and im happy with my level. I ranked up because I normally dont goof around in free roam. But I cant stand low levels, they sometimes are not ready to do certain stuff like heists, you know wha I mean?
RogerWho
I think low-levelers have problems because they skipped SP and jumped directly into online. Considering a crapload of players are around 13 this may be their first GTA ever and therefore may not be used to the controls. I still rest my case that anyone who played some SP shoudln't have a problem with heist since level 1 (except the Pacific finale but if the others are higher levels he can just be the money carrier). Kaber
Heist Leader unlocking at level 50 would solve a lot of problems. Join heist at level 25 would be good also. Second characters generally will have money and can buy and upgrade DLC guns, know to have snacks and stack armor. They will fire from cover, have snacks on hand while driving and know the setups. Low level characters have very low hit points. FACT. If you just started playing GTA when heists came out you are NOT ready at level 12 for any heist setup or finale. I dunno where they came up with 12. Its just weird. Hacking, exploiting, and or modding your RP/Level in this game is an exception. It is not the norm. This game has been out long enough that levels 200-300 are quite common. Don't blame their sh*ttiness on low experience. Its usually because they have played the game so long they think they are unvincible. I know. I still Rambo too often.
carambolage67
I am Rank 423 and Rank 236 (, the only glitch I ever used was the naked tits glitch), The rank doesn`t tell you anything since the other player might use his second character. Skills doen`t seem to count during the heists. It seems that all skills are 0n 100 % during the heists. Yesterday we did Pacific job, and later I realised that two players had a strength skill of 3 or 4 percent. In a contact mission they wouldn`t stand one bullet with such a low level. So I come to the conclusion that I can try a heist with everyone. If they play stupid I sent them a message sayin: sbs. It doen`t help, but at least they are confused what sbs means. Adrian_AFTB
I am rank 111 on the PS4 and rank 6 on the Xbox One. I have had a few invites to Heists on the Xbox but I always decline them because I know that if I were to accept, the Host would kick me out because of my low rank. I haven't had much luck on the PS4 either; I can't seem to Host the Heists as nobody accepts my invites and whenever I accept a random invite it always ends up in a fail and people leaving. Your rank should not be used to judge your skill level as it is in no way a clear indication of how you play. I've seen players as low as rank 10 perform much better than players as high as 500 because the rank 10 knew when to use cover, when to eat a snack to restore health and when to move on. Hell, I've even been out-performed on the PS4 by a lower ranked player and I have nothing but respect for everyone who plays, regardless of what rank they are. RogerWho
Well I'm only glad the heists are unlocked for everyone, otherwise I would not play GTAO at all. Heists were the first thing that actually made me play GTAO. Then again, I would get some real work done. sh*t. Okay, please lock everything that's fun for me to level 400 so I don't get to play. As great as that sounds, they did link a lot of things to rank, such as the type of armor one can buy, how many they can hold, and even health increases. The higher the rank, the more plentiful the resources. Low ranks ate quite literally boned in that regard. Edited April 23, 2015 by Foffy
RogerWho
Armor is completely useless and as for health, just use cover. The only space where you have to run in the open into the gunfire is in the pacific finale and that can be handles by 1 or 2 higher ranks which give you protection while you carry the money. What was I when I first completed the PacSt finale... 20 I think?

The higher the rank, the more plentiful the resources. Low ranks ate quite literally boned in that regard. That is all true but if you know how to use cover your rank shouldn't really matter in the slightest. The Heists are a way to test your skills and a higher rank doesn't necessarily mean higher skill levels. Sure, the stats may say everything is maxed, but again, that isn't absolute proof of someone's ability to do them.

Chiarii
Obviously it was meant to be a giant F U . Heists at 12 but survivals at 15 lol. 2nd character or not a players health goes up in 1% increments. Level 100+ has 100% health, the level 6 has 6% health at full health. Armor isn't that useless, it's not meant to turn you into super man and be invincible the entire time, that's why you wear the heavy armor outfit with the bulletproof vest, the vest by itself is only good for a few hits but if the armor gives you enough time to get safely into cover then it did it's job, just like in real life. VanessaMagick
Honestly, as someone who has been playing nearly since release with a female character and a female Gamertag... I haven't gotten much abuse. Only once or twice has anyone even treated me differently because of my gender. A lot of people talk about how most guys just pull up and honk their horns at you if you're a female, but I just get gunned down by everyone. Almost every session I get put into, it's full of male characters and the majority of them always crowd a female character whenever they see one, which prompts her to leave. I sometimes think that some of the male characters are actually female players, using male characters just to play in peace because the guys can't leave them the f*** alone if they were to play on female characters. I treat females better than I treat guys so if I ever see you online I'll be sure to wave. I'm on the Xbox One and PS4.

Yeah, the problem is that I've been crippingly ill for the past 2-3 months and haven't been able to work, which means I'm getting crappy pay from the government that barely pays the bills, let alone lets me save up for a next-gen console or PC. XJpostman
What makes me laugh is when they will play a Heist on Hard, when it is already very difficult, like the Bank Heist.Fail after Fail,I used so much ammo, total waste of time. This guy could not even hack the safe! Let everyone play, but use common sense and play on Normal or Easy,if you are a beginner.I am always happy to play with anyone, but players should be realistic as Heists are harder than most missions. I could be wrong but I don't think hacking is affected by difficulty. The only real difference is having extra lives which in some setups can mean all the difference but in others is completely useless and just deducts from the payout. Scope Out, Fleeca heist, and Deliver Emp are three that should always be done on hard as you shouldn't/don't need an extra life. There are probably more but I can't think of them at the moment.
