McDodge34
There's very very little info over the internet how the game performs on minimum, most of the videos on yt showing very good rigs only, sh*t i didnt expect that there will be nothing on minimum PC specs in signature I get around 20-30fps with drop to 17-19fps sometimes, I guess I'm overdue for an upgrade but thankfully it will happen in a few weeks max. GTASA_passer
Oh, don't tell me I'm the only one who runs it on low-end and gets horrible experience Pentium G850 2 cores 2.9GHz HD 7770 drivers 15.4 4 GB RAM I'm on lowest settings possible. Barrett_killz
i5-2450M dual-core, 2.7GHz HD 7470M 1GB VRAM 6GB DDR3 RAM Runs perfectly, but I get the performance of last-gen consoles. Benchmark says 25-30 FPS, but sometimes it drops to 15-20. But it's fine, I'm literally shocked. Lowest settings, 800x600, FXAA on, shadows off (from the config file), pedestrians & variety to half of the bar. I observe stuttering when my VRAM is almost full (after like 2 hours of playing), but restarting the game fixes the problem. Turned AA off completely, MSAA 2x, FXAA on, occlusion on high, tessalation normal, textures normal, everything else on normal. And removed that cap on over-the-VRAM-amount. Game runs smoothly, no stuttering, no texture popping, 30-35 fps. Amazing tbh. Devs deserve all praise for optimising this thing. Alexaph
Hey guys, looking forward to playing after this long wait, but before I get it, I have to ask you... What are the chances of GTA being anything near playable on this: CPU: AMD Phenom 9950 Black Edition Quad Core 2.3 Ghz RAM:4GB GPU:nVidia 9600GT 512Mb... The GPU is stronger than most of the cards that can run the game at a playable framerate (like the GT610 and alike) except the vram which is 512Mb... There is the option to disable the vram limitation thing but I'm curious if the vram will have such a huge impact.I'm planning on playing ultra low at 720p at least if possible. I maxed Max Payne 3 and GTA 4 at good framerates... Looking forward to some good feedback !

twannie1997
I will run it on my laptop (specs in sig) for now. My CPU should be able to make it easily, but my graphics card is like 39% worse than the HD 4870, and 16% better than the 9800 GT for minimum requirements. We'll see in an hour or two. Guitrz
I have an i5 650 3.20GHz (dual core, 4 threads, it's similiar to the Q6600 quad from minimum requirements) 9800GT 1GB 256 bits (minimal ><) 4GB RAM I bought the game and at everything at minimum, the game still stutters to an unplayable level, im gonna mess with resolutions now, only thing i didnt try, since i just left at minimum... kingddd
Core2Quad Q6600 2.4GHZ 4 GB DDR2 Ram GTX 560 (non ti) 1GB VRam Bought it today and runs very smoothly at 30fps to 40fps in the outside area. Sometimes I get about 25fps dips in really intense heavy actions but it does not slow down when the framerate drops. 60fps indoors as expected. I'm kind of amazed actually considering GTAIV on the PC, the recommended specifications for that game was literally the minimum requirements whereas for this game my specs were pretty much the right medium. Most of my graphical settings are set to normal and some parts are high and I'm running at 1080p resolution right now just at the brink of passing the VRAM limit and running in Dx10.1 and so far, it's been a pretty smooth ride. Although I'm gonna have to play around with the settings a bit more but overall I have not had a single crash or any problems. Funny enough my computer was using 3.8 GB of Ram while playing GTAV so it's right at the memory limit but I experienced no issue playing the game whatsoever.
