WeAreHuman
GPU: Nvidia GeForce 8800 GT (SLI, so 2 cards actually) CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6420 @ 3 GHz RAM: 4GB DDR2 400 MHz Ancient hardware, I really need to try GTA V on my PC. I mean, it's probably going to run like sh*t. nah you will be fine, just change the dx to 10,and put everything on normal (no AA),i think you can average 50 with that build It's not even minimum requirements but I'll definitely give it a try as soon as I get GTA V. Oh man, if that's actually true then I might run this game at a nice framerate, considering we have similar PCs. Thanks man, this is actually helpful (at least for me). Intel Pentium G3258 3.2GHz 4GB DDR3 RAM GeForce GT240 GDDR5 1GB (I plan on getting a GT740 soon, but yeah, here's a placeholder card for now) Please don't. Save a bit more and get something a bit decent like a GTX 750 Ti or R7 260X. GT 740 won't perform that much better than your current GT 240. McDodge34
Anyone tested this on a 1GB AMD card? Me, PC specs in signature, if I keep settings like they were when I launched it and upgrade the resolution to 1440*900 (wanted 1680*1050 but 1gb of video memory isn't enough for this), I get around 20-32fps sometimes drops to 18-19 but only in heavy traffic at night, all of it with nothing touched of the settings except reflections set to high (I can't stand the reflection on Normal on each car I see its extremely ugly) I'm pretty impressed of the overall performance to be quite honest, I'll have a better pc in a few weeks, Core I5 3570K (3.4GHZ stock speed), 16GB DDR3 Vengeance something, with a hell of a beast video card in it (Gygabyte GTX 770 OC Windforce 4GB edition) for now, I enjoy what I was waiting for almost 4 yrs. Ducard
Thanks! My resolution is 1366x768 so I'll be playing at 30 FPS most of the time I guess and that's fine for me. My card is an AMD Mobility Radeon HD 7650M 1GB, not sure how similar it is to yours but I'm hoping for similar performance.
K20
its funny about vram. i'm running two 760 sli 2GB. SLI only use the minimum Vram on either card, so 2GB max. but in the V settings menu it says memory usage is 3.5GB and available 4.2GB. which is strange. but it doesn't create any stutter or lag. anyone know if Vram is something to actually worry about? IMO if someone has 1GB vram it should be a problem. cause V is somehow getting the extra ram from somewhere to boost things up.

TovarishTony
AMD Athlon II X2 240 processor 2.80 GHz is just the issue on my part had 4 GB Ram and GTX 650 GDDR5 1GB video memory.
