MisterEd
I am starting this thread for people who install GTA V on a PC with low end specs. For example the some of minimum specs listed are: Processor: Intel: Core 2 Q6600 Quad @ 2.40GHz | AMD: Phenom 9850 Quad @ 2.5GHzVideo Card: NVIDIA: 9800 GT 1GB | AMD: HD 4870 1GB One of the computers I am installing GTA V on has the following: Processor: AMD Phenom II 960T X4 @3.0GHz Video Card: NVIDIA: GTS 250 This is just a little above the listed minimum specs. I will post how well GTA V works on it. I am interested to see how well it works for other people with PCs that have specs at or below the listed minimum specs. Remember Rockstar says that these are the lowest specs for a PC they tested GTA V on. That does not mean that GTA V will work not work on a PC with lower specs. It doesn't hurt to try first before one runs out and buys new hardware. Costar, Maxxeine, RedIndianRobin and 16 others

Dock
Best of luck to you guys! I was probably going to be in your same boat but I managed to escape day before yesterday :') Honestly though, you guys should try to upgrade. How can you enjoy the game at, what I'm assuming is going to be, such low settings? I know you all may have your reasons but this being a game you have waited fro nearly 1.5 years, I think you should try to upgrade! Regardless, this'll be an interesting topic to read through. robban and PreciousWall

Kampret
I'm gonna try run it on a AMD Athlon X4 760K at 4.3 GHz 4GB DDR3-1600 Radeon HD 6770. A 5770 (6770 is a rebrand of it) is at least twice as powerful as a 4870, which is minimum. Although I'm betting that R* tested minimum specs on Vista, in which Catalyst is so broken that it needs a 4870 to match a 9800 GT. A true match for a 9800 GT is an HD 4770, which is very low end by current standards. I'm fairly confident that my setup will run the game at Medium, considering my 1366x768 screen. At that res basically any GPU above a 750 Ti is an overkill. RedIndianRobin
Mr.PhillipsLS
Well I have an laptop from 2012 and it has nvidia GT525M, the rest of the specs are fine. Just the video card it's a bit...weak..or more. Until I get a gaming PC I would really like to see V working with at least 20FPS on my laptop. But I doubt it. Under 1080p my 6770 really showed its age, although it's quite decent. Far Cry 3 ran at 35 FPS on 1080p with Medium-High settings, while it's 55-60 FPS on 1366x768 using the same settings.
