TempAccount Posted April 13, 2015 Share Posted April 13, 2015 i'll compare what i think of the driving mechanics to what people have said on the forums (i've never played the game before). after that i'll probably f***k around with the graphics settings and making sure there are no major crash problems before getting into the game. i've waited years for this... i'm willing to wait a bit longer for a critical patch if need be. LankanComrade Posted April 13, 2015 Share Posted April 13, 2015 (edited) Make sure the graphics settings are as high as they can be and still give a good >50FPS inside a busy part of Los Santos, because the refresh rate of my HDTV is up to 60hz without any of that TrueMotion stuff.... Johan Posted April 13, 2015 Share Posted April 13, 2015 I guarantee I'll be spending an hour or two messing around with my settings, I've seen multiple sites stating I'll be able to hit the game on High... but I definitely won't stop until I get one that feels comfortable for SP and Online. Gonna set alarm, launch directly gta online from steam (cuz if you launch from campaign you will have to play a few missions before u will get access to character switcher wheel) transfer my character, roll out blacked out franklins buffalo from garage ride a bit. Gdog Posted April 13, 2015 Share Posted April 13, 2015 (edited) set everything to low/off. play through the prologue with these settings. once i finish the first mission (not the prologue) then i'll just play about with the settings until i get something i'm happy with. then i'll try out the video editor.
