I Did Not Know You Could Quick Throw Grenades

Seriously, why did no one tell me about this?

I just accidentally did this last night. But I can't believe how few people know about this. Seeing how I've never seen anyone do it Online.

I made a quick video showcasing Quick Grenades For those that are as "in the dark" as I was.

I was attempting to do it earlier today but could not remember what to press on the controller.

Left D pad while aiming.

Anyone know if this effects sticky detonation?

Love how he throws it without removing the lock.

OP telling us he did a video to help us that are "in the dark", doesn't tell us how to do it.

Thanks.

It's a prett cool feature. I don't use it that much but I probalbly should use it more.

I remember liking the addition of that feature but yet, I don't use it much.

I tend to forget about it while in a gun fight.

It only works on current gen.

Just tried on 360 and didn't work.

It only works on current-gen, unfortunately. Us last-gen cavemen will have to continue manually equipping and throwing our grenades.

Who knows, maybe they will add it to last-gen in a future update, similar to how they added the options to manually aim from a car and move while aiming down a sniper rifle's scope (which were both current-gen exclusive up until the Heists update), although I wouldn't get your hopes up.

Nah, throwing grenades is too much for last-gen hardware :^)

Well if you think about it, this allows you to throw grenades quicker, which in turn produces more explosions which means last-gen wouldn't be able to cope!

Only logical really.

This only works with Assisted Aim Partial (or whatever it's been renamed to).

If you are in Assisted Aim Full (or whatever it's been renamed to), the action instead allows you to switch targets whilst out of cover without going back into cover.

It's a really cool feature but I prefer the ability to switch between targets quickly. My style of play, particularly in survivals is to shoot and stun as many enemies as possible in a short amount of time rather than focus on one whilst the others are able to shoot me.

Would be good if you could have both.

Red Lynx 23

There was a demonstration of that shortly before the current gen re-release. I practiced the quick tossing of grenades on The Lost who come at you on bikes in a few Trevor missions.

I just accidentally did this last night. But I can't believe how few people know about this. Seeing how I've never seen anyone do it Online.

Why is it that when something relatively "new" comes out (in this case, NG GTA came out less than 5 months ago), that everybody in the world must simultaneously obtain that knowledge in some way, shape or form....and if someone doesnt know about a feature, etc. immediately, then that person will be scrutinized forever until we all die in a sudden fiery apocalyptic doomsday death? Seriously, OP? I, mean, it's very cool that you found something that some may not be familiar with.......,but the tone of your post makes you come off as pompous....

I can just imagine the day when someone cracks the Chiliad Mural/Jetpack mystery.

Thread Title: OMGGurz!!!I just found the JP in GTA Online!!!

Thread OP's Post: I just found the JP with my crew, at precisely 10:23 AM Eastern Time July 4th, 2015. Here's a video by me on youtube. "Posted 5 minutes ago"

1st reply: You're extremely late to the party..sorry.... Everybody in the world already knows this. Someone in your crew already posted it in a different thread. "Posted 1 minute ago"

Meanwhile that "other thread" has been pushed back 10 pages because of all the glitch/exploit, ridiculous questions and appreciation threads...

Sorry, it's late and I'm tired. I'm beginning to sound pompous myself.

it will not detonate until you stop aiming and press d-pad left

you will still only be able to quick toss 5 before detonating

First person mode is great, not only can you quick throw grenades but it makes your gun like 80% more accurate.

This was brought in with current gen consoles. I read about it then forgot about the ability. Till recently when I inadvertently threw my last molotov at a friend by accident (honestly!).

I love it when my weapon wheel decides to equip proximities or tear gas by default.
