Not A Nice Person

Yes, at least he isn't like Romney and literally just sent perishable food to Sandy victims, that wasn't a good look.

The Dedito Gae

Not one of Trump's fans willing to state why they are.

Fitting.

You're not interested in hearing from Trump supporters, you're only interested in trotting around on your high horse, virtue signalling and insulting people, like half the others in here.

You really can't be a Trump supporter Stew , that guy forgot how to be a human.

He's crazy.

the absolute madman raised 6 million dollars and had a veteran who was born on the 4th of july named John Wayne speak on his behalf

he also avoided Megyn Kelly stomping mudholes and walking them dry

Rand won the debate because he didn't get flustered. Really odd debate, the moderators hated everybody.

Moderators seemed to try too hard tonight, they should lay back a little and just stop being uptight. Since the clown wasn't around tonight, people were actually able to listen in on real discussion. Why doesn't Rand get more attention? He seems like the most level-headed of the bunch. Rubio is a little bit too antsy.

Yeah, Rand is the best guy on stage. I've been swept into the Trump...fandom(?) on a sort of Nationalist trip, but a Libertarian-ish (he isn't his father) president would be ideal in my opinion, as someone who's obviously on the right of the spectrum.

It's nice to hear Rand bring up discrimination in the justice system, auditing the fed that the traitor Woodrow Wilson signed, limiting NSA spying and talking about not restricting your freedoms. Being open to different races, sexualities. I like the idea of an "alt-right" that's inclusive, it's gotten hijacked by the NatSoc trolls however so...IDK, it's a mixed bag on the right at the moment.

Not surprising.

auditing the fed that the traitor Woodrow Wilson signed

What are they hoping to find? That the US government has a secret stash of money?

The U.S is better off without the fed. They were just fine without it. How can you argue that they're better with it? I doubt that will ever happen, but auditing the fed is somewhat realistic.

I don't care if the US is better off without a reserve bank. I'm just wondering why you care.

Why? Because I'm Canadian?

I think it'd be better if the fed was transparent, instead of being so opaque. They need to be investigated by an apolitical group. Basically, audited.

Just my opinion.

I wonder why you care because it's a complete non-issue. Our society has a lot of problems, the fact that money may not be printed in a transparent fashion is pretty low down the list.

They've given loans to other banks and have done it behind closed doors. What is a non issue to you? Currency is an issue, IMO. No, it's not on the top of my list or yours but it's something that should be brought up because it's a problem.

They should stop printing paper money that turns to confetti in the wash. Other than that you've lost me.

Well our money in Canada is plastic. Also, grapes are like $8 a bag now. Please help me.

What kind of low grade paper does your country's government use?

Svip didn't you or anyone else wrote many pages ago that Trump had no chance to become the Republican candidate? I believe somebody wrote that. And now he is the most likely candidate.

That was me. I wrote that Trump would be unlikely to win the nomination, because the party elite would do everything in their power to stop him. My prediction hinged (as you can tell) largely on the party elite doing everything to stop Trump. To my surprise (and others' as well), they have so far refrained from doing that. Even Karl Rove's Super PAC American Crossroads have so far focused its attack ads on Clinton rather than the true threats to a Republican win in the general election; Cruz and Trump. In fact, I'd argue (like 538) that money would be better spent attacking those two.

For some reason, the other candidates assumes that Cruz is a far more likely nominee than Trump (maybe because of him being a possible compromise candidate). But who knows? Maybe in a brokered convention, they'll end up nominating Paul Ryan.

My prediction still stands, should the GOP wake up and attack Trump far more heavily. And I'll like to point that Trump only maintains a plurality of support in the polls, not a majority.

We don't use paper at all. Welcome to the 21st century.

With the days winding down to the Iowa caucus, looking forward to how that plays out.

Considering that Iowa suck at picking who eventually becomes the nominee, I'm not even paying attention to who wins there.

Honestly, you could ignore everything that happens between now and September and just start there. Only the general election really matters.

The only reason to focus on politics, at this point, is just to see how we would've gotten to the Nomination. The biggest stories from Iowa are primarily about momentum.

Will Bernie beat Clinton?

Will Cruz beat Trump?

If either or both of those things happen, it will be seen as a legitimizing factor for them moving forward. If they don't it will take some wind out of their sails a bit.

The other question is how well Rubio does. Is he a close third or a distant third?

Appreciate you sharing that Android, wasn't aware of there being live results.

A bit surprised at how well Sanders is polling, didn't think he'd have this much support. I imagine Clinton will still come out on top, though.

Strikes me as very strange that results for some districts are announced whilst there are still people voting or yet to vote in others.

AP reporting that O'Malley is ending his campaign. I expected this. Cruz leading over Trump though? Would have never guessed..

Yeah he better save his money and try again in 2020. Bernie is doing REALLY well, not far from Hillary at all. I predicted Cruz to lead over Trump tbh but I hate them both so I hope Rubio emerges.
