Fascism is unstoppable and we should all celebrate. Make that your motto Notice how being far left is fine but if you're far right it's like you eat babies. Because being far left, making solidarity and democracy your fundamental principles, in stead of greed and fear, is the political manifestation of human decency. Its goal is to cultivate the positive aspects of human nature. But sorry for not thinking fascism is cool I guess. Well I mean, Trump's "fascism" is somewhat being stopped thanks to a media-sponsored campaign - at least here in the UK - to advocate signing a petition every hour on its impartial bulletins to ban "Mussolini with a cap" from ever entering the UK, so I'd say the left-wing fascists are doing a good job in halting fascism. In other words, you've not much to worry about, chief; the good guy fascists are prevailing! In the UK there's a rise of xenophobia as well, though it isn't as radical and militaristic (and thus not as fascist) as Trump's rhetoric. I don't think a campaign in the UK will have much of an effect on Trump.. And apart from that, I thought it was pretty obvious that my previous comment was completely sarcastic. Not just the celebrating the victory of fascism part was sarcastic, but also the idea that Trumplike fascism will prevail in Western society through mainstream politics. Off course it might, humanity is unpredictable, but you are right that in general the mainstream doesn't allow it. Trump is a famous billionaire though, which causes a struggle in the mainstream objectives of glorifying celebrity status, and censoring according to political correctness. How Trump relates to the media is pretty weird though, and I can't say I fully understand it. Islamic State is a xenophobic and militaristic movement, and thus a fascist movement, as well though. Aren't they already in camps in a lot of areas anyway? And I'd agree with him on the latter, if that's true. Saggy
The whole Democrat vs Republican thing is kind of strange because if you think about it geographically, the Southern states are perceived to be overwhelmingly Republican. It wasn't always like that though, the South use to be mostly Democratic. There's a strange history with how the Republican party gained more popularity amongst Southerners. I kind of forget the specific history of it but really all each side serves to do is gather support by producing propaganda thst already appeals to commonly held beliefs of people in a voting region. I do wonder sometimes... When everyone was bashing Bush was it really as baseless as the Obama bashing? I mean, yeah a lot of people thought he was responsible for 9/11 but beyond that there were some pretty valid reasons. You know, disregarding congress, fabricating evidence, and getting us into the middle eastern conflict. Obama hasn't been great but all the right ever says is that he's a Muslim from Kenya and that they shouldn't have to pay extra taxes for not getting health insurance (but will still bitch a out the rising ccosts of emergency room visits on tax payers). Why does everyone keep discrediting Jeb Bush? If G. W. could get elected once and into office twice, I feel like Jeb will pull it off. I'm kidding, he can't pull it off because so many people think George W. Bush "did" 9/11. Doesn't have the be right, it's what people think, his name is tainted now more than it's ever been. He's too establishment. Besides, Trump has already lit the GOP on fire, whoever comes out alive (if it isn't Trump) will be running for basically nothing. It's not only Trump who mocks Jeb, Marco Rubio has called him out, and they're supposed to be friends. He's pretty much out of the race even though he'll linger like a bad smell. If you think 'left wing' means 'c*nts storming around bullhorning over offensive speech' then you really don't get it. Like you literally do not understand what the left wing is, it has nothing to do with putting a gag on Frankie Boyle, that is a seperate corporate agenda that has more to do with the scope of the institutions involved than any ideological goals.
