What can I say. I'm a console fag at times. When I'm on keyboard I'm master race. But sometimes I get that itch to switch over. Kind of like cross dressers. Resist all they want. It doesn't make someone gay to not want to use the most sterile, boring, ez-mode control scheme possible, which is what kbm is. It's like eating pussy with a condom on your tongue, it's just... weird. If I could, I'd use my HOTAS stick for flying, wheel+pedals for driving, and PSMove/Sharpshooter for foot. I'm pretty good at free aiming with a controller, much more than your random noob mouse user and Auto aim user. I wanna see how I fare in PvP as I have done well before( no records broken ) on other pc games using a controller only and then use the ultimate setup: I basically dislike the keyboard, so using a playstation navigation controller on my left hand and mouse on the right one, kinda like frag x, will be my ultimate setup. CReaper210 Posted April 13, 2015 Share Posted April 13, 2015 (edited) In my opinion, using a controller is more fun. It feels more immersive to me. I like having every control option in the palm of my hands. I like the rumble. I just enjoy it more. It's obviously different depending on the game, but GTA games for example, I love using controllers. And the "disadvantages" when using a controller I've always found aren't very noticeable if you're experienced with a controller and are fighting against average PC players. I would personally just consider myself slightly above average in shooters and I do just fine when I equip XPadder in games with no controller support. In fact, I've been playing Insurgency the past week using a controller, and I've been averaging in the top 3 nearly every game. So you download this program called "Input mapper" and install that. You also need to search for the xbox 360 controller drivers for your windows version( just type it on google), installing all this is pretty simple and straight forward. The program works great and let's you customize the led color and everything. You can use it wired to the pc or connect it through the bluetooth and all games recognize it as an xbox 360 controller so it's compatible with many games and the touchpad works as a mouse also so it's a win win Edited April 13, 2015 by Crimson Flam3s Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
