I've not been able to get online for about 4 weeks on the ps3 in the normal way. On 4 occassions I've been able to load story mode then launch online from there. I cannot get anyone to join heists at all.

 

Anyone any idea what is going on ?

It's most likely you're internet connection...

 

Have you tried resetting your router or if you can hardwire your console to your router using ethernet cord

yeah it's not my internet connection, only have issues with GTA, every other game works perfectly online everytime !

Are you using the Resume/Suspension feature?

 

By that i mean are you turning off your console via rest mode without exiting the game?

 

If you are read This Thread i just made on how to fix connection issues with the Resume/Suspension feature

Yeah I probably do that but it's PS3 not 4, it's hard wired into a router so will the same process apply ? cheers :/

 

can i not just somehow delete the cache ?

Ahh yeah that only applies to PS4...

 

Yeah actually deleting the Cache is one of the recommended fixes

any links on how to delete the cache without losing any saved games please ? Not something i'm too familiar with tbh
