countercruel
I see a lot of console gamers moving to the PC version of GTA V, this is a good. But every video/comment i see on these players buying a new pc and then saying "this should be good for 60fps 4k!". Ok, lesson one. Unless you have 2x gtx 980's in crossfire, NEVER, i repeat, NEVER max out your anti aliasing. From my experience playing PC games for the past 10 years, its that i cannot see past 4x anti aliasing. Plus GTA V will feature FXAA+Anti aliasing, so you can have it on 2x anti aliasing with FXAA and those jaggies will be long gone!, (example War Thunder). Secondly, GTA IV's pc port was horrendous and still is. I only mention this for two reasons, 1: Reflections in the Grand Theft Auto games, 4 mainly was the center to most lag in game, 2: view distance also. So my advice, no matter how good the PC version of GTA V is, always check these two options and reduce to begin with as i have a funny feeling, anyone using something like max reflections = to 2048x2048 or something WITH reflection anti aliasing "a new setting" will experience a big dip in frames. So basically, just because you now have a gaming PC, and the PC version of the game is amazing, you should never max out what the game recommends you as it has always been a failed system for all benchmarking games. Hope this helps . P.S if you have the system to run everything max all day everyday without any problems, then ignore this thread once game is released. And for the record my graphics card is a R9 280 MSI OC, and im not gonna be one of these wizards who know what fps i will get in GTA V when they havnt even played it themselves + no benchmarking tests released yet. z06z33
I have a I7-4790k at 4.5ghz and a GTX980 so I'm not too worried about playing at max settings. I don't see much of a point in going byond 1920x1080 so 60fps shouldn't be an issue for me.
Nick930930
FXAA, max graphics, 1080p. All you need. I never bother with max AA unless it's a reallllyyy old game. Hell, Far Cry 3 still struggles with the max AA setting, and I use a gtx 780 countercruel

I was really just trying to say, once you get the settings down right, there really is no need for everything maxed out. ever
