Hard to race with primary character

I was wondering if anyone having same problems as me. I have no problems hosting races with my secondary 62 lvl character, but it seems that whenever I try to host with my primary 187 lvl, no one seems to join (maybe one will join eventually that won't leave right away and end up racing with me 1 on 1 because I missed the timer), switching lobbies doesn't help either. On top of that trying to join random race doesn't seem to work either (might be as broken on secondary, didn't try as I didn't have to due to hosting working so good).

 

Why such clear difference between characters? Horrible luck on my part that keeps repeating or is there sime explanation for this? Makes me sad Any tips?

Well the lobby you were in could have a huge effect. If it's a full lobby, everyone in it will get an invite and if they join then their also friends will get invites and such.

I find that when I use a low level character to join on deathmatches I get better results, could be a matchmaking issue.

Could also be low levels being uncomfortable with high levels. Being a high level myself (197) I get this sh*t a lot.

It really does start to look like people are uncomfortable with high level (do they even see it in invites?), but most of my lobby "contingent" is usually of people who get there via random race or play job anyway, at least I think so. I remember starting from full lobby mattered big prior to heists. And yet now even when hosting a race from empty lobby (and up to 4), I got the race lobby almost insta filled with my secondary char, while I get next to no one when trying to start from full lobby with primary char. In both cases I use cutting coroners and congestion charge as starter, as they seem to be quite popular.

 

If it's people not comfortable with high level kinda issue, I'm not sure how it works exactly, because it's not like they leave all the time, they don't show in the first place.

If it's indeed matchmaking, then... well it's a serious problem either way
