Jeansowaty
Yeah, I'd give the brand as Albany, but since GTA3's car brands are largely unknown, I can't confirm any if you want to see how it looks like by now, here's a picture from Parik's Workshop... We might still edit it at some places, and the wheels are just used for the sakes of the picture, the car will use default III/VC wheels Carface80 1 Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/783601-carface-workshop/page/5/#findComment-1067887781 Share on other sites

Nik.
So you going to jump on that train eh. Looking good mate, seems like one of the major bugs about gtaV converting is the damaged windows, are you having that problem aswell? unbid
My conversion attempt....lots of bugs to smash Looks like most of the parts are not textured yet, and did I see a missing right wheel? Also, that will look good to replace the Kalahari. Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/783601-carface-workshop/page/5/#findComment-1067913042 Share on other sites
Carface80
@nik getting it to V is not too hard, but more sensitive to "deviation" then IV. that's one of them, then some tire texture glitch (I'll try assigning one materials instead of 3) so I will try to revise it closer to vanilla spec. @Jeansowaty at least it appears, and never crashed my V the handling is based on Buffalo so it runs like a go kart. @unbid fixed the wheels, a labelling error. The door never opens ands swing around while driving because I used IV dummies, the position dummies and lights works, but the doors is not. To be safke I will use V dummies in the future. Tried replacing Mesa, but when I load the gane it still spawn the original, I assume another Mesa exist from another rpf file directory that's overriding the main rpf..maybe a DLC. Carface80
possibly, GTAV directory layout is not too encouraging to do some detective work....so im going to focus on ovehauling the materials and texture on FJ 40...getting the basic to work. universetwisters 1 Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/783601-carface-workshop/page/5/#findComment-1067915724 Share on other sites
Carface80
Glitches are fun.... I cut the number of materials... for instance, the wheel used one material (instead of 5 materials) the tire texture glitch didn't go away, but it looks like more of a texture linking glitch, even though the texture assign correctly, for some reason it gets jumbled in game. The reason the body is all white because I did not assign a car cols on the material, the green part is just a incorrect material. The glass still not breaking, glass have no reflections and the normal maps are not working (i haven't got a chance to investigate) and the COL ID are not set, when I shot the car it looks like made from wood! This conversion also acts as a "prototype" for my future conversion, so its trial and error. Even at this Alpha state, it looks way better than IV...the standard V rendering is really pretty. Carface80
The V have a different approach to set up the glass, found from this link http://forum.zmodeler2.com/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=7352&sid=a29c99eb5e269dc6a931f8671ae2b22f I may try deleting the images and re import them again, it seems the export filter didn't like the original zmodeler 2 texture and material linking. most of the bugs I encountered are solved from zmodeler forum, Jeansowaty and Jinx. 2 Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/783601-carface-workshop/page/5/#findComment-1067917023 Share on other sites
