Osho, since the game released for PC today, shouldn't you be busy playing instead of spewing your usual miserable negativity all over this forum?

Afterall, you're finally able to play a better version of the game that was so "BROKEN TERRIBLE MURDEROUS TREACHEROUS ECONOMY-DESTROYING DISEASE-INFECTING WORLD-OBLITERATING DOOM-OF-ALL-TIME".

I would've thought after devoting so much time reminding everyone how much of a disappointment the game was and how your glorious PC will fix everything everyday for the past two years, that you'd be a little busy.

Or is the trolling just too much fun for you to do something else?

Bearing in mind the game isn't any different from the PS4, or even PS3, versions, he's not going to find anything that changes how he feels.

I don't even know why he would bother buying it on PC when he already feels so hugely disappointed. That's basically throwing money down the toilet and forcing yourself to eat sh*t while you're there.

To add in things that aren't relevant contextually would be stupid.

Michael makes reference that he's mortgaged up to his eyeballs. Why wasn't going to the bank to take out a mortgage a minigame? Using your logic in fits in with the story and his environment. Oh how fun that would be.

I understand adding things for context, but I don't understand adding them for the sake of it. I'm sure nightclubs are a big in LA too yet there's not a single enterable nightclub in the whole game.

No, you're being ridiculous. Why didn't Franklin have an ironing mini game? Why didn't Trevor have a post-stomp boot polishing mini game? smh

Don't be f*cking ignorant

For at least the first year, the mods are going to be sh*t. They won't address the core gameplay issues he has, it'll just be a load of poorly modelled cars and Iron Man suits to fly around in.

Which of course makes the game SO much better.

A mortgage minigame wouldn't make sense. Michael makes money by robbing banks and stealing. He would be getting a mortgage from the same bank he's robbing smh come on now.

Adding to Fuzz and Wang, I'm no programmer, but I'm pretty sure there'd be a slight difference in work and system-demand between a fully functional, lively nightclub interior and the yoga feature.

@Fuzz

I'm not a PC gamer, so I couldn't care less about mods. It just gets eyerollingly annoying when these kids seem bent on telling people how "sh*t/terrible/etc" consoles are, which is the case here with Osho, and why it strikes me isn't playing his new glorious version.

But you're right, given he's whined about pretty much everything V has to offer, it'll be a while before he gets what he wants- whatever the f*ck that is- which unfortunately means we'll still be hearing the usual stuff.

The "you only have to do it once" argument doesnt work. It's not one of HANDFUL activities you can do, it's one of FEW activities you can do. Which sucks.

V has more activities than it's predecessor, whether you like them or not is totally subjective. Yes, the game could have had more side missions and things to do but at least it's an improvement over IV.

Michael makes reference that he's mortgaged up to his eyeballs. Why wasn't going to the bank to take out a mortgage a minigame? Using your logic in fits in with the story and his environment. Oh how fun that would be.

Brucie own's a tuning garage, so why didn't R* add car customization in IV when it would have fitted perfectly and would actually be an interesting and fun feature like it is in V? No, instead we got f*cking bowling with cousin Roman calling us every damn five minutes to go play with him, "just for the sake of it".

Agree about the nightclubs though.

Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised by golf, I actually enjoyed it. Tennis is another story though, I found it absolutely boring.

al related activities.

Tennis is amazing, IMO the second best mini game after air hockey in TBoGT. I haven't played golf yet but I think I won't like it that much anyway. I simply like fast paced sports more. Well, to each their own.

I've always questioned R*s decision not to have included customising in GTA IV. It's probably my biggest gripe with it and I'm sorry even after 7 years I still find it pathetic how blown out of proportion some people make out the phone calls to be.

In fact I was playing GTA IV earlier and it took over an hour before I got a phone call. It's always been terribly exaggerated IMO.

You're missing my point. A fully functional, 15 acre theme park complete with drunk teenagers spewing all over each other could be considered relevant. Are you saying we could've replaced the yoga feature for that?

Oh come off it, stop using yoga as a sh*tty excuse to justify why other activities didn't make it in the game. I said this in a post a page back that looked like it was ignored by everyone.

Yoga would take barely any dev time to make. All it is is moving the sticks up and down. So complicated that they would have to devote their precious time away from adding other side activities, right?

As I said earlier no one seems to mention that instead of other side activities that were left out we got A LOT of vehicle customisation, the ability to fly planes, car interiors, 1st person mode, a content creator, more weapons, A LOT more clothing options, haircuts, tattoos, a bigger, varied, detailed map, A LOT more vehicles etc...

The list goes on.

Yes yoga wasn't a good side activity, but to rain a sh*tstorm on it just because it was an activity that seemingly took the place of other favoured ones is rubbish as it probably took similar time to develop as the Interaction Menu.

Just saying.

Not not directed at you, more the people that favour the opinion.

Is the yoga feature not blown out of proportion too then, Miami? Yoga happens one time in the story mode, yet people here have been complaining for months about, saying all kinds of stuff about it. Think about it, the yoga feature happens one time, that's it. In IV, you have to admit Roman calls you more than a few times and some of those times are really inconvenient, such as shootouts, fights, car chases, etc. See my point?

No. You guys keep saying yoga only needs to be done once yet besides "First Date" none of GTA IV's activities are required after that either.

Maybe I've been more fortunate, but I can't ever recall being interrupted in a shootout, chase or whatever. From experience most of the time it's when I'm driving or walking and it isn't "every damn 5 minutes".

You're avoiding my question. I'm asking if the phone calls, which actually occur many times throughout IV are blown out of proportion, then is yoga, a feature that only takes place once, also blown out of proportion?

They are required if you want to maintain the perks you get for hanging out with people.

From my experience of IV, and I've played a metric f*ck ton of it, the phone calls come every 30-60 minutes on average But they almost always come at an inconvenient time. I don't recall whether switching the phone to ignore mode or whatever it was called stops the story and friend calls, but I seem to remember it just paused story related calls.

So you can't switch them off.

With yoga, you play it once, reasonably late in the game, then you never ever have to think about it again.

Same here. I absolutely loved IV, but the phone calls were some of my biggest gripes. Roman would also call during missions too. For example he calls during the mission Shadow and scares the drug dealer off.

Osho, since the game released for PC today, shouldn't you be busy playing instead of spewing your usual miserable negativity all over this forum?

1. This is not a GTA V Fan/Fanboy Club. This is a public forum. Members are free to come in and bash/criticise V as much as they want. For whatever reason. For as long as they want. 18 months. 5 years. 10 years.

2. If it annoys you, maybe you should ignore it. You've got no right to tell others what they should be doing.

That never happened in any of my playthroughs, but that just illustrates the problem perfectly.

Thank heavens you don't get called to do yoga in the middle of missions. Because, y'know, no one ever calls you to do it. And you're in a mission when you do it.
